Im a crotch rocket guy...as that is all i have ever ridden. I havent had the chance to ride these specific models...but i will tell ya that the R6 is a VERY sweet bike. As long as you are an experienced rider. The latest R6 i have ridden was my old neighbor's 2004. It was a 600(which is the R6 for those that dont know) and it felt like a 900 on the freeway! Then..my roommate started dating a guy that had an R1. He let me take it out too....im not ready to own that bike yet. It scared the shit outta me!! But i would DEFF take the R6 over the Ninja. IMHO..ninja's are complete garbage. Overall design sucks. Their parts degrade faster than any other sport bike made. I lost all respect for American Idol when a friend of mine back in virginia tried out for it and the told her she was too tall. Granted yes she is 6'2..which for a woman is realllly tall...but she has a naturally amazing vice and singing ability. She was able to reach the really high notes....but could still do barry white. Fuck that show..they want more looks than actual talent. Edited to add: correcting...i sat through an episode once beacuse the gf at the time made me sit through it...as it was her favorite show. Firstly.. I'm not "sacrificing anything. If i was i would have been i would have been kicked out of the military, have no place to live, and be completely broke to the point where i cant even eat a meal. I'm not doing that. All i was saying with the original post of this thread that since i start skydiving it really sucks that i cant do it as often as i wanted to...due to other obligations that are typical with life....then you went off into a tangent attacking my way of life...or at least HOW YOU THINK i live life. Sadly..you were wrong with most..if not all...of your assumptions. You tried comparing skydiving to a relationship...that..in my opinion is not even comparable. A relationship involves another person....skydiving does not..therefore not complicating things more. You talk about taking an unwanted extended break...does it really matter what experience level the person is at that is taking the break. Numerous people that have responded in this thread have stated that they feel the same way i do now....and they are a lot more experienced than myself...so i fail to see your point in that. I'm not going to take a "step back" because i have nothing to take a step back to. I'm new in the sport, i cant do it as much as i want to, it sucks.....THAT WAS MY POINT...sheesh. Try not to over analyze the things people say/type on here. I'm thinking if you wouldn't have...this thread wouldn't have made it to 5 pages.
