How many tickets would be the minimum to buy? "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

I have a Garmin ForeTrex201 as well. I have not been able to download any tracks as the interface is serial and my laptop only has USB ports. I have a KeySpan serial to USB adapter but I have never been able to get the device detected. Anyone have any luck with this? "I'm not lost. I wondered about this as well. I knew what my vertical speed on a tracking dive from my AltiTrack, around 90-95. I finally got a small GPS, a Garmin ForeTrex 201, and know now that my horizontal speed is around 70. Obviously, I am not a stellar tracker, but it is nice to know the numbers, as well as having pretty much instant feedback to know what improves the numbers and what does not. As usual, YMMV. What are these 'regulations' you speak of? As far as I have been able to determine, there are no 'regulations', only the BSR's. From the glossary: BSR. Basic Safety Requirements. BSRs are USPA guidelines. They do not have force of law but are generally regarded as excellent minimum safety standards. "I'm not lost. Don't worry, if you get half clear weather, there is no way that you will not be able to see it. "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

I have faxed mine to them. How would they know if it was copied first or not? "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

My first AFF skydive this Saturday.

[replyYou had better be waiting for me down there with a White Russian. If you are anything like me, you will want to do another jump as soon as possible. Save the WR for the end of the day with the other people at the DZ... -
Name a topic you think you know more about than BillVon.

I know more about being a carney...probably more about wholesale meat distribution systems as well. "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley -

This Saturday, April 5. Hope we have some aircraft. That 182 that crashed is going to put a dent in the lift capability, but I am going to be there jumping my Tracer suit.

I voted 'other'. Am I a guy that skydives, or a skydiver does a bunch of other shit to entertain myself? Am i a biker because I ride a Harley, usually with others, or a guy that rides Harley's and does a bunch of other shit to entertain myself? "I'm not lost. You are quite right, a skydiving award is related to skydiving. I am sure whatever it was, you rightly deserved it and have every right to be proud of it. The context of the message you posted seemed to be related to the use of English as the official language of aviation. I may have mis-read your post. Hmm, does not seem like I mis-read it, I did leave out the Latin thing about mass though. Not sure what the relevance of that is. On topic, I really don't see why English would have to be a requirement of skydiving. Even in my short time in the sport, I have jumped with people who speak and understand very little English and had a great time. Usually, no matter what your language on the plane, you can't hear anyhow. "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

And that has what to do with skydiving? Oh, I guess about as much as your statement about the FAI award... "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

Get on any commercial flight, sit in the emergency exit row and if you do not speak and understand English, you are moved. This is for safety. "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

Any idea where the review would be found? I would be very interested in reading it. Slightly off topic, but I have 10 jumps now on a Matter Tracer. On the last two jumps, I have hit a position where I have felt my rig lift up from my back. I am not sure whether this is from air getting under the rig, a lot of lower pressure air above it or air inflating the suit on my back, but when I did hit those spots I really felt like I was getting some good lift. I have checked my AltiTrack and it shows my vertical speed just under 80mph, SAS. "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

Does anyone know anything about these suits? There is one on ebay but I have never heard of these. Thanks in advance for all replies. "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley

Mother dies next week on 'breaking bad' (spoiler)

Ok, point taken. I guess the title I had on the "Nip/Tuck" thread was a little TMI. Sorry, I was holding bad reading this thread until I watch the show tonight, but curiosity got the best of me. Glad you did not really spoil the show for me. I will take your post to heart and not spoil any other shows with the title of the thread. "I'm not lost. Yes he was skydiving. At Eloy on Saturday, 02/09/2008, and he was using the top mount. Looked pretty snaggy to me as well. I am not quite ready to strap a camera on yet, but when I do, I would prefer to have something small and not really have a huge heavy helmet. "I'm not lost. I have seen this camera used by one person, but did not get a chance to talk to him. Has anyone ever used one? "I'm not lost. I don't know where I'm going, but there's no sense in being late." Mathew Quigley
