  1. Thats a good idea... on the ride up on the skyvan, my boyfriend who mainly only jumps as sebastian was pointing out different things to me, looking out of the space between the door and floor of the skyvan. I normally close my eyes on the ride up and think about my jump. THe music thing is a good idea, one of the camera guys at Sebastian listens to his Ipod on the way up and around 10 grand puts it in his jumpsuit....
  2. I have experienced that on the otter... as soon as im in the door..im good to go....
  3. I really wish I could jump more, right now I try to make it to a DZ once a month, thats about all I can afford...
  4. I was in Sebastian this past weekend and Deland's Skyvan was there, I have never jumped the skyvan before, so I was all over it... First jump I was a bit nervous, new jump plane ok.. I expected that, but my 2nd jump was even worse, to the point that I almost decided to ride the plane down..... Ive recently gotten current, 7 jumps this year (since 2/29). Most of my jumps are from Otters, Caravans or Cessna's. Im very upset with myself for being that nervous... jumping is a huge passion for me and I have several goals for myself... Just wondering if anyone here might have some words of wisdom for me...
  5. Florida to jump with me & my boyfriend!!!!
  6. :2:1 had a great weekend in Sebastian with my boyfriend for the Carnivale boogie, made my first two skyvan jumps.. so yes beer was owed...

  9. As much fun as it would be, Brett wouldnt look at me twice.... not a big breasted dumb blonde... I kinda think (looking at his past flings) thats what he likes... Plus Im dating an absolutely fantastic man, I couldnt ask for better! No reason to try out for a game show where I would be surrounded by super estrogen levels...

    Is it...

U behave with someone as hot as McBeth lying with you...I call Bullshit on that one....
  11. Im so obessed with this show too!!! I love Brett .... I grew thinking he's the hottest thing ever!!! Still do!! LOL I agree with you about Daisey, but I think it will be Amber b/c in one episode Brett mentioned something not really wanting the party girl, he's had that or something to that effect....
  12. Well what about people like Sylvia Brown http://www.sylvia.org/home/index.cfm I've watched her on Montel several times and really beleive she is legit...
  13. She is scary. She comes across as a Hormonal Basket case that wants to cry at the drop of a hat. Every time I see her, I think she is about to "open up" and want to "Talk about my Feelings". Also did I mention that she needs to eat a Cheeseburger or 50 cause she is a walking skeleton? She has a nice voice buy that teary eyed crap is waaaaaaay old and I DON’T want hear about her feelings. Someone hand that girl a bucket of Chicken and tell her not to say a word till all of it is gone. I agree, she does need a biscuit or 2 or 100, but she seems so "hormonal" as you put it becuase somehow she has not managed to become hardened and caloused as nearly all of the rest of have from the world....
  14. was the one thing that was accurate something that was easy to guess at or figure out?
  15. I have always wondered about the psychics who practice for a living. Ive always tossed around going to one, but have been a bit skeptical (I do believe that Psychics are real, Sylvia Brown is one I do believe). But Im talking more about the ones that you see advertised on TV and in the yellow pages around your town. Have any of you ever been to one, was it accurate and did what they say come true? My mom went to one when I was a baby and im sure most of it came true...
  16. I often have very strong "gut feelings" per se... like when something is going to happen... its usually only little things tho. I strongly believe that this is a real thing that some people have the gift of. I think some people are just in better tune with themselves than are others.
  17. I really dont understand why so many dont like Brooke. I think it is an amazing an beautiful thing that someone can remain so pure given the world and the way it is today. I mean she has never seen an "R" rated movie. I think its amazing. I would love to see someone like her win becuase it would give the young girls who look up to the AI's someone real positive to look up too. I too am suprised that Michael Johns is gone, it surely should have been Syesha or Carly. I am elated that Kristy Lee was safe....
  18. And we can't forget Carrie Underwood, she is the most successful that Idol has turned out... I love her and Im not big on female artists in any fashion...

    Divorve

yes, i agree.. while divorce does suck... having done it 2x by 27 is quite alarming. Maybe you should just take some time for yourself and have fun being single. I was married for 10 years, and even tho I have an amazing boyfriend now, I can honestly say I will never get married again. My independence means way too much to me. Find what you think you need in a mate in yourself, then pursue that next relationship. It makes things so much more fun....
  20. Throughout April, visitors to the Nothing But Nets Web site can play an interactive game to deliver virtual sleeping nets to Africa and, in the process, raise money to buy real insecticide-treated nets through the malaria prevention campaign. The “Deliver the Net” game challenges players to deliver as many virtual nets as possible before the sun goes down and malaria-carrying mosquitoes come out to bite. Each time someone plays and signs up at www.NothingButNets.net during April, an anonymous sponsor will donate $10 for a life-saving net. “It's never been easier to send a net and save a life!” the Web site states about the game. “World Malaria Day is an important reminder to get involved in the fight against malaria, a leading killer of children in Africa,” said Bishop Thomas Bickerton, spokesperson for Nothing But Nets in behalf of the 11.5 million-member denomination. “This is a fun and easy way to help save lives. We want to blanket Africa with bed nets.” Every $10 raised buys and distributes a net to a child in Africa under age 5--one of whom dies every 30 seconds from malaria. The World Health Organization estimates that 300 to 500 million cases of malaria occur each year. Campaign organizers say insecticide-treated nets are a simple and inexpensive way to protect children from mosquitoes that carry the killer disease. Nothing But Nets was inspired by sports columnist Rick Reilly and created by the United Nations Foundation in 2006. In addition to United Methodists and the U.N. Foundation, the founding partners include the National Basketball Association's NBA Cares and Sports Illustrated.
