I you really believe that KC was that gutsy - you gotta be kidding! He got lucky because he had NOTHING to loose - he had already spent most of his adult life in prisons. Exactly and what did a 5 time felon have to loose other than his worthless life and without the medical assistance he had been told he would need within a yr or two ( got lucky and lived many yrs - by changing how he lived his life) plus the advancement in medical renal technology from 1971 to 1990. Dialysis in 1971 was a death sentence within 3 or 5 yrs - he would have been living on skidrow, because he had no health insurance. And you actually think that KC would have risked spending 40 yrs in prison - he was NOT prison material - he would have been raped over and over and over till there was nothing left of him. Your own words prove to the world KC was NOT Cooper. KC would NEVER risk going to prison because of his life style. You are right about there NOT being any extensive thinking out of the crime - and it is exactly why Cooper slipped into oblivion. Also no more than one other accomplice - several accomplices means the risks of someone talking or slipping up. This also supports a subversive action. I could never find where exactly this tower with the light was. All I know about this is we pulled onto a dirt Road and drove up to a clearing in the woods...in 1979. He sits there and says out loud to himself that this it must have been the road before this one. Then he seems to "get" it and points out an area on my left where there had been a shed he buried something behind on time and there used to be a tower there (did NOT say what kind of tower). He did say that you could see the light on top of it miles away. He then pointed to our left at about 10:30 on the clock and showed me a line of tree that was lower than the rest and told me there used to be a logging road there that went all the way to the tracks and why I was told on the 2010 trip I had to have been in the Heisson area in 1979. I still do NOT REALLY know where these tower were, but they were definitely East of the the railroad tracks. So to me this means he either landed West to and or North of the Tracks and used those to get to this tower whose light he was able to see when he was on the ground....that light was his beacon and where he probably spent his first night. With a change of clothes from the shed and being able to bury his burden he was able to hike out of there quickly or make contact with his accomplice and let them know where to find him (I still believe there was someone with him and they used Walky Talkies. If Cooper REALLY went into the bathroom on the plane while they were on the ground in Seattle he was probably talking to a party right there in the terminal or parking lot or near the airport where the plane landed....this would explain the SEA TAC parking ticket he had. I believe Cooper knew about where he would be landing simply by the minutes from take-off. He knew how long it would take that plane to be south of Lake Merwin. I am sure he could not account for wind so if he had a target he was off - but, he made sure he jumped in an area he would be able to move swiftly through and an area he knew well. Duane Weber knew those area above Lake Merwin and South to OR. How do I know this? Because of the places he took me and the things he showed me - he knew were every airstrip, cemetary, gravel pit, lake, lighted towers and the VOR was. He knew the tracks and cottages and Power lines and Pipe Line. He had every land mark noted in his brain....he didn't even need a map. Dumb Luck he survived, but he did. I believe he landed somewhat North of what he intended, but that did NOT deter his escape...he knew how to get out without being spotted and by changing clothes at that tower with something left there by workers - he blended in. He showed me the Orchards area and I now know after my Oct 2010 trip that he took me NORTH of Battleground and the "towers" I had been looking for were around or above the Heisson area - the land was flat and not hilly when he pulled into the wood and told me about the tower that you could see for miles. It was after this he mentions a road if we stayed on it would take us to Battleground and this is why in 1979 I thought we had to be below Battleground but we were actually above battelground (because he took me to what I now know to be the old orginal Battleground and not Battleground as the general public knows it today). NO one showed me this in 2001 when I was out there...I accidentally found this myself riding around and then I went West and ended up in the Battleground of today and then went to Meadow Glade to where the VOR was he showed me. I remembered the statement he made about the power lines - and pipelines. "Before all of the undergrowth you could walk for miles - and they all intersect (pointing SE) and from there they go down to the Columbia" Also remember that before we left the area he took me to OR on the trip and went along the South side of the Columbia and went past Trout Industrial and this is when he pointed out a tresel and told me there was a marina on the other side that we could not see - then came the boat story and that "they" let it loose at full throttle right across from the airport. This is what the 2010 trip did was allow me to be behind the wheel of a car and even with the developement I move from these place in no time and using old maps was able to filter out of my mind the developement. I think Rataczak's made it pretty clear that the crew knew where they were at any given time during the flight. Airliners didn't just fly blind because there were clouds hanging around. Not generally. He's also been insistent on that they knew when Cooper jumped. Rataczak lays out the scenario clearly: 1) Airstairs open. Crew feels pressure bump in ears. Indicator light comes on showing door is now open in flight. 2) A short time later, less than two minutes at most, crew feels the plane bounce. 3) At the same time, the indicator light goes OFF for a second, and then comes back on for good, staying on for the remainder of the flight to Reno. 4) The indicator light came back on because when Cooper jumped, the stairs rebounded back to an almost-closed position for a second (light goes off), and then settled back down (light comes back on). Were they over Vancouver, or the Columbia River? Absolutely not. My information says at LEAST 8 and maybe 10 minutes of flying time north of Vancouver. This translates (@196mph) into between 24 and 32 miles north of Vancouver. This would put them in the area between the Merwin Lake Dam and a few miles south of that point. Not coincidentally...the place they also found the parachute, which STILL has not been explained to my satisfaction. I know some of you are accepting the FBI and Cossey's explanation on that one. No problem. I just don't agree. HOORAY! At least you and I do agree on somethings! Robert 99 needs to BACK DOWN or STAND DOWN and stop twisting everything everyone says to suit his "NEEDS". Too much of what I was told and shown by Weber are indications that at least Cooper intended to land in a specific area and that he knew the area well enough to make his escape if he landed just about any where within the path from Seattle to Cames/Washougal (the only reason he said Mexico). All he wanted to do was get in the air and jump before the plane got out of regions that would have been too dangerous and areas he might not be able to get out of OR out of range to notify his accomplice or acomplices (I firmly believe this). Jo. I have to ask - Whats the word down there about the Anthony trial? Looks like a helluva mess from here ? Too many discrepancies - if I were on that jury I would have to say - we do NOT have enough evidence to convict nor to say she is not quilty of the crime. My personal opionion is that she wanted to party and intended to put the child to sleep because she didn't have a sitter, but that she did NOT intend to kill the child. I also question WHY she did NOT call her parents so they could take care of the child. There have been so many lies told in this case - we may never know the truth. If she was going to use Chlorform that is a poor choice as there are so many other choices availabe she could easily have acquired. A little cough syrup or alchohol in the childs bottle would have put her to sleep for a couple of hour. It is also a natural excretion of decaying bodies or a dirty diaper - so there is no evidene the childs body was ever in the trunk of that car. The parents had a pool and they used chlorine in that pool. Could accidentally ingestion have killed the child or maybe even eating toothpaste. (I heard NO discussion about a child getting into toothpaste). There was a prescrition mouthwash my husband used that had heavy quantities of a chemical in it - did the child get into something like that. My question to that prison prior to this were mulitple and different. No he was never here, We are NOT allowed to provide any information on Duane Weber or John Collins. All the same steps were taken to obtain the San Quentin file and the Canon City File without any problems...but, the questionable FILE was withheld. As for witnesses the FBI did NOT do the DNA testing or make that statement until they had knowledge that 2 of the witnesses who could prove Duane was Cooper had died. Why do you think the asked for the DNA in 2003, but did NOT test it until Nov and Dec of 2007 and early 2008 (I have the DNA testing they "accidentally left in the box") when they returned the DNA samples. That is all part of a big big cover-up and it stinks to high heaven. ALSO, note Duane told me he was DAN Cooper 11 days before he died - I do not call that on his death bed. Yes, death was inevitable without diaylsis, but a lot has been wriitten about this that is totally inaccurate. His daughter in-law told me she knew Duane was Cooper. There may be a problem as far as your sources are concerned - but please state your credentials on this thread to clarify you are an authority to disputed Cooper being able to see lights within the haze. The CO-PILOT's own statement disputes what you are saying Robert 99. Please EXPLAIN your credentials and YOUR sources of weather conditions along the complete flight path...and have YOU spoke to the Co-pilot? Have you sat down with him and a map and had him show you where they were? Have you ever actually sat with the co-pilot or the engineer or the pilot. Probably not because the only one I ever spoke to was the Co-Pilot and he was the one behind the controls. Many things have been taken out of context by the media - just as they are in this thread - so only use exact quotes you know to have come from the crew. What Qualifies you to make these statements as thought they are beyond reproach? Did you create the map or did you use a map created by someone on this thread? Sorry, but I have listened to the NAYSAYERS - when I have been told differenty by others who were on that plane....remember that I have been talking to people for 16 yrs. I did NOT record the conversations, but my damn notes are pretty accurate. If anyones watch was off by 1 minute or 2 minutes that changes a lot of things. There was also the relay and transcribing time - that enters into all of this. I take the Co-pilots own word that they were EAST of the PDX and that he was able to see Portland to his West and infront of him. RE-READ the above 2 Paragrapha and you will know how WEST ever entered a conversation that was misinterpreted by the media or another party over-hearing a conversation! The Co-pilot told me yrs ago before his accident that the plane was East of Portand and West of Cames as they crossed the Columbia - He knew were Portland was at that time. Do you guys not even realize the crew need to know if Cooper had left that plane - there are "minutes of communications MISSING" in the FBI records - Crucial minutes. Someone in the cockpit noted the Portland Airport - and the statement was made as though he could actually see the light through the clouds...! Eyewitiness - have any of you actually talked to those in the cockpit or read their statements over the yrs? The MAP you guys are using is NOT the actual map the FBI used. This map was marked adjusting for the extra time the THREAD CREATED. Take yourself a clear piece of plastic and do those marks and then MOVE the plastic to the actual TIME frames and you have a different map. I have repeatedly told you there is a witness account putting the plane EAST of Portland NOT West as the map you guys are using. The MAP path created by this thread allows for whatever adjustments you guys created and that this is a CREATED MYTH...to make COOPER just go away. The CO-pilot disputed the map used by this thread. So you guys just want to create myths because you know he is advancing in age and health and the only person left alive who can dispute you. Georger, I will again say "I Ditto that" as I also called Geoffry. What he told me is exactly what he told you. He and I spoke about 3 days ago. I just didn't see it worth mentioning in the thread - because Blevins keeps coming up with this crap. I am the 1st one who contacted Geoffry and you could hear the surprise or question mark over the phone. We know copies of the book were given to other writers for review - even before he finished it....open a site on any book Patterson puts out before it hits the market. You will see - reviews written and it is obvious some of those reviews are made-up or written before the completion of the book. Geoffrey seemed unaware of how Blevins could have read chapters on Christainsen and Tina as he stated. All of us on this thread who have a "tag line" are protected to some degree. Blevins posted and bragged that he is downloading all of the DZ postings and we know he is a publisher. He would NOT be doing this unless it was for commercial purposes, to use and make profit out of someone else's hard work. We have known from the beginning Blevins rides on the coat tails of others (at least this is what he has done since get-go in relation to his story on Christiansen). He used this thread to research Cooper AFTER THE FACT and we were all nice enough to help him because he had really screwed up the facts about the crime itself. (He still does). I am beginning to believe that Blevins only stayed with the thread when he saw he could profit by participating...every post he makes has a sales pitch and is self promoting. Blevins intends to violate the terms and conditions posted at the DZ for all participatory users, intending to use the information by downloading and storing it in his own publishing-based office computer and to use it commercially. Many of us print our posts, but lets face it - this subject matter got so large and varied - there was NO way anyone of us could keep up printed posts. Therefore it is the intent of Belvins to use this for profit. If his office is working on it - it is definitely not a personal copy for himself. If anyone is going to profit it should be the DZ - it is their time and space - they afforded us the opportunity to discuss the matter. I printed the 1st thread and it fills up 3 2" note books, but it was for my own personal purpose. I started the same on this thread - but, it grew and grew and grew - so damn fast there was absolutely no way to keep up with it. I stopped doing it June of 2009. Can you only imagine what we have here now. I believe that was around Post #10675 and now there are #24316 posts. I would love to have all of it printed just because - well one day I won't be around and I would like for there to be a written record so my great grandchildren who will only hear tales about that Crazy Delusional Grandma of theirs can read it and make their own decision...maybe by then the world will know who Cooper was. I am even missing lots of them prior to the #10675 post. I had already started just printing highlights before I printed #10675. NOW I could never catch up. Would be nice to have it on CD's. DZ could make money selling the contributors CD copies... Actually the DZ has become the source for serious Cooper searchers. We have had several writers in here that did NOT identify themselves other than through private emails to me and maybe to some of the rest of you. They have come and gone - perhaps on to another subjects when we bore them. The FBI hierarchy doesn't know or care how residential real estate commissions are earned, split etc. When you post stuff like this it undermines your objectivity and credibility. Stick to the facts. You maybe an attorney but do you Know the FLORIDA Real Estate Laws and rules of the Company I worked for? If he wanted to pull it from me he had to be able to present a complaint against me. There is a difference between you and I and that has to do with knowledge of our subject. Your driving force is "money" and salvaging your career, but you are self-destructing. My driving force is the truth...... and hopefully truth is what will win, but in this USA of today - I would NOT bank on that. Let me get this straight. I posted up a little excerpt from a screenplay I'm working on, and then suddenly a minute later you get an email from a Hollywood producer trashing it? Geez...that was fast. Hollywood must really be monitoring my work. (*chuckles*) . Well, Blevins it is like this - you made the post and I immediately emailed it to the Hollywood producer. You had been unsuccessful in making your attachment and came back to edit it. SO that is how it happened. No tricks, no lies - things just happen! He was NOT monitoring your work and what he has to do with me has nothing to do with you or Christiansen. I could tease the hell out of you about that - and get a real rise out of you. I developed friendship with people from all walks of life, but I do NOT utilize those friendships for personal gain. Remember that when I went public I lost a contract with an FBI agent I had worked really hard on. This agent suddenly did NOT want to close with me and it was necessary for me to forfeit most of my commission to save the sale. My name could not be mentioned and I was not suppose to receive any commissions. Unbeknowest to that FBI agent I did get part of the commission because we watch each others back in the market - just like the FBI does. Don't you think the fact that I had just gone public about Cooper and he finds out who I am after the contract is signed and delivered....he was ordered to cancel that contract - this is just how our USA and FBI work. The FBI cost me about $3500 in commissions on that sale. Now what is fair about how they play. I thought it was very dirty playing. Conflict of interest!
