Wow nice looking rig. I like the black and yellow. If everything was made in 2004 and the main and container have 30 jumps on them only, here is my opinion of what its worth, keep in mind your at that spot with this gear where its pretty much brand new but you realistically wont get what you paid for it because its used; Low-High prices container; 1200-1500$ main: 1100-1400$ reserve: 800-1000 cypress: 400-600$ So in the range of 3500 to 4500 in my opinon is what I think you can realistcally get for it. I personally would give you 3500$ for it no problem ( if I needed a rig :) Hopefully this helps

Bo peep layers is my personal fav, a garter belt with crotchless panties and a fab looking bra, you just cant beat that. But out of the three you picked either lil bo peep or sexy card. Im a fan of seeing them on first let me know if you need someones first hand opinion

The wait time is still 6 weeks, one of the fastest turn around times for an awesome rig, Get one!!

Eric, I think some of the guys we were flying with last weekend are going to be there, so even though its not official they probably will be putting somthin together. Ill be there sunday for sure!!

Do you really have 111jumps and starting to do 180's ????? Ive got almost 500 jumps and have just barley started messing around with 160-180 degree turns!!

IS the reserve the same DOM? Has it had any reserve rides and how many repacks does it have? A rough guess I would say 1800-1500$

Sit fly Coach Jumping or Sit Fly Tunnel Training?
Ironmanjay replied to SuperKat's topic in Safety and Training
If I had the money I would do both so you can be as versatile as possible in the air and in the tunnel...go get coaching in the air during the day and go to the tunnel at night I learned to sit fly in the air first as most of us do but now I can sitfly in the tunnel and it has expanded my sitflying in the air ten fold. The tunnel willl not allow any bad habits to form, like flying too heavily with your arms. I am a semi-quick learner and was sitflying in the tunnel with a little over 1 hour, but then again my coaches are gold medal tunnel team flyers so they know how to explain things while Im doing it right in front of their face and they push me to my limits so Im not just wasting my money in the tunnel. Coaches in the air and in the tunnel will make or break all that money your spending! If you think about a good skydiving coach with cost you your jump ticket, their jump ticket and sometimes 20-40$ on top of that so your looking at 40-80$ for a skydiving coach jump. A tunnel coach can cost you 13-18$ per min. You will have to decide which one works best for you. -
Very nice! I just got to see one at a DZ last week that someone had put a couple hundred jumps on and swears he'll never go back to rubber band stows. Keep us updated on your opinon of it

I just got to see my friends new infinity with this design on it. It looks awesome!! I wish I would have known about it before I got mine, grrr

0:9:1 lots of coach jumps this weekend, 4 of them, 2 belly & 2 head up. 1 tandem spec, which was fun since I never usually jump with tandems. Our last jump of the day on sunday was fun!!! 4 way belly round exit, I flew in as the 5th, transitioned to sit, opened to a line, then attempted to build a stair step!! Oh yeah I owe beer for bustying my first 180 onto final ;-)

Maxing out a lightly wingloaded canopy:
Ironmanjay replied to pinkfairy's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Oh theres always something you can be doing with your canopy -
Can you demo both of them to see which one you like better. All of us arent going to be jumping YOUR canopy so decide for your self by jumping both Since we got off topic with the Pilot. My preference is the crossfire 2

Ok folks I have to show it off... I really like how black and yellow look on a rig and how they look in photos in the air, overall the rig looks better to me then in the design I made up, its simple but bright!! Im not sure if you can see that the stiching is yellow as well..... Tony and kelly have been great people to deal with, Thanks guys!!!!

Jump more and talk less on the forums and you'll run across our reasoning of why we know that a persons body composition makes a difference in their fall rate

You know i used to have the same problem too. I dont know if you have gotten video of yourself tracking. Sometimes it 'feels' like your doing one thing when actually your not emphasizing it enough, so before you go and buy a new suit, which could help you, I would get someone to video you. Its a lot cheaper then a suit and Id bet money your going to learn something about your body position

I know that your looking for an answer to your questions and I think my best advice would be to talk to your instructors. I really try to keep students away from a place like this until they can make their own decisions on whats safe and whats not. My girlfriend just graduated AFF last week and I told her to stay off these forums and to only listen to her instructors and the select few at the DZ who have a students best interest. I gave her limited info while she was going thur AFF since Im only a coach.

What!? There is a lot of evidence to support the existence of death!! And theres a lot of evidence to support there never being death To answer your question. At first it was all just for the rush of jumping out of a plane. Its changed now because skydiving is such a part of my social life that I like the people more now. I dont get the same rush as I used to, its different now but still just as much fun. Its a goal to learn whatever disipline Im working on

QuoteFirst of all use all three alarms. You are not planning on using the most important one! The last alarm for your decision altitude is the most important. When you hear the flat line you better be damn sure you're pulling your last handles. Do not set it below your decision altitude, as it’s of less value to know your screwed at 500 feet below when you are supposed to be doing something as important as your EP’s. Also, do not set it higher as you don't want to become desensitized to it going off with a partially inflated canopy. Set it AT your decision altitude and recognize that when it goes off it is time so do something right then and there if you aren’t already. Malfunctions can suck people attention away from their visual altimeter unlike ordinary freefall.Quote Just like my writst mount I use my audible as another safety tool to get me to the ground in one piece, hell why not use two audibles if you can afford it My personal experience and what has been to suggested to me about setting dytter alaramsis, I set my 1st alarm 500 ft higher then break off so when break alt does come up 2.5 sec later Im already jamming out of there. My second alarm I set again a little higher. The way I figure it by the time I hear the second alarm come out of my track and wave off and pull I lose again about 500 ft give or take. My last alarm is set at my hard deck and luckily Ive never heard that one go off in the air

The pics do look scary but if you knew those two, you'd know that they have TONS of canopy training together. So I'd venture to guess they werent even mad at each other

:10:quite a few 15 jumps total for the week but 10 over the weekend at the American boogie. The ones that stand out the most; The multi plane 30 way tracking dive. We rolled a 9 way tube exit out of the skyvan for my 400th ( even though I didnt realize it was my 400th till we were a 6k :) First jump with my newly graduated Aff student/ GF (which includes my first kiss at 9k :) I think thats it....

Thanks for everyones post's; My progression so far goes as; 20 min belly 30min back 10 min standing on net/ sit flying I just got a stable lift off the net in my sit the last 2 min so now Ill just work on stability and docking. Im still going to get more proficient on my back too
-
Kind of like a canopy progression thread, I wanted to see how long it took people to progress in the tunnel. How many min on there belly, back, sit then to HD? Or if your just on your belly, how long till you were doing 4 ways in the tunnel?

correct fitting of a rig around the shoulders?
Ironmanjay replied to Jow210's topic in Gear and Rigging
I have the same problem with my new rig. Shoulder straps are too tight ( different rig manufactuerer) So Im sending mine back to the company, Im not sure what they are going to do to it, Ill just wait to see if it fits when I get it back. -
0:10:2 6 freefly jumps, 2 coach jumps and 2 belly jumps. I brought ice cream for everyone instead of beer for first paid coach jump and first jump on new suit.
