    Nope, when I was a contractor disco's only paid $5 but you may have to drive 4-5 miles in between them, seldom did you get more than 2 close together. TW has quality control guys that check on contractors, if you turned one in that you didn't do it was like a $25 fine. Did you notice the first line of this post? "when I WAS a contractor" Shitty job!

    You have to get a receiver kit that plugs into your radio, it comes with an antenna that has to be mounted.

    I'm not a locksmith but I am a burglar alarm installer and in Texas it's the same license. You have to be fingerprinted, give your life story and have a pretty thorough background check. Check you states website.

    Time Warner in San Antonio offers just internet without any tv channels. They install filters at the tap coming into your house that blocks all of the chanels. Heres what you do, call them and cancel your tv but instead of having them come out and pick up your box offer to take it to them, this way they don't install the filters right away it's put into their dispatch system as a downgrade instead of a disconnect. If your tv is less than say 15 years old it is probably cable ready. Just take the cable that comes from the wall and screw it into your tv. Did I mention that I was a a contractor for Time Warner?

    Ok, I got to Dallas yesterday and checked into my hotel but they only had no smoking rooms available but said they would move me today. When I got back this afternoon they gave me a new room just a few doors down. Of course I had brought the suit in instead of leaving it in the truck. As I was moving one of the maids saw the suit and asked "Oh are you a clown?" Seriously...WTF

    My Girlfriend is the Executive Director and I am on he Board of directors for The Heidi Search Center in San Antonio. We provide educational speaking events to schools as well as assistance to families and law enforcement in locating missing persons. We also do fingerprinting events at different functions where we provide the parents with a fingerprint card and envelope so they can keep their childrens fingerprints along with hair samples and recent pictures just in case one of them should ever go missing. All of these events require volunteers. We do one every year (my personal favorite) the Saturday before Christmas it's called "The Feast of Sharing" where they feed thousands of homeless and under priveledged familes that otherwise wouldnt get a Holiday meal. I see that you are in Arkansas but they probably have a similar organization there as well. PM me and I'll give you more specific contact info if you'd like.

    What's all the talk about parachutes and rigs? I just thought it looked cool, Maybe a new line dancing fad! The second grip on the arms is where the batteries go! I got to stop at the DZ on my way to Dallas today and got 1 jump on it. The booties make a BIG difference!

Blue Skies my FRIEND!!! Sadly, I have the misfortune to inform you that our beloved Ray Privitt passed away last night from a undetermined illness. He was unable to attend the Larry Hinson Benefit 4-way scramble at Skydive Houston this past week-end because he was feeling ill. He checked in to Memorial Hermann in the hopes he could get better and be able to attend. Many will remember Ray as being Johnny Skydive’s video man on his 4 way team and later the President of The Texas Skydiving Association.     OK, here I go: What about someone sitting in their living room watching the tube and a plane crashes through their roof or a car through their wall and they die. Or if someone has a main and reserve mal and lands in a blackberry field and lives. Maybe someone with double mals that lands in a parking lot and lives. Maybe youre driving on a bridge that you have driven on everyday for years and all of the sudden it collapses, you die but others on the same bridge live. How about a child that dies of SIDS at 3 weeks! If you decide to jump from a plane with no rig then someone or something told you that it was ok, it's your time to go. I believe in the numbered heartbeats theory!

    If your in the Austin San Antonio area San Marcos is the place to start in Texas. I've heard Skydive Houston and Spaceland are good in that area as well.

    I'm not sure why you were told not to go to San Marcos but it is a really good DZ. A Super Otter, lots of great staff, instructors and fun jumpers. I've never been to Coupland but they're ad on USPA says they only have a Cesna 206. SSM is the best DZ in Central Texas!!!
