I have torn mine before, thats why I originally offered some advice. I would keep it in. I didnt with mine the first time and had to have it (both actually) repierced. Here is the thing, it is better to keep it in, care for it, and watch it. It shouldnt migrate from the description you have given but if it starts to or suddenly notice months from now that it's crooked...THEN take it out. Then you can have it redone later. Look at it this way, you can either take it out now and deal with the scar tissue and having to repierce through the scar tissue (which actually didnt hurt me at all) or you could wait and see and might not have to have it redone. I would hav to say leave it in. I have had my nipples periced twice and several other body pericings as well. Leave the jewelry in and do your daily cleaning ritual (nonscented anti-bacterial soap) at least twice a day. Everyone is saying leaving it in will cause infection. This is not true. If it's clean jewelry then it's not going to get infected. What can cause infection is contamination of the open wound that is why you need to clean it. I think it is MORE important to keep it in to prevent infection. Think of it this way. Your nipples have pussed before. I know they have, you know they have, anyone with nipple peircings has experienced this at one point or another. Anyway, they are certainly going to do it now. Do you want that happening inside your nipple after it closes up so you cant get it out? Keeping the pericing in there assures that you aren't sealing up any possible infection or fluids inside your body. Don't take my word for it, call a peircer. Are you sure he wasnt wiping from back to front? That is the only case I can think of where it would make sense to hold the boys out of the way. While women are commonly familiar with the fact that it is much more hygenic to wipe from front to back many guys are unaware of this as it isnt quite as crucial for guys as it is women. My first bike was a Katana 600 and i sold it to buy a GSX-R750. I loved both of them but sold to gsxr for a skydiving rig. To be honest i got tired of playing frogger with minivans and getting harassed by cops cuz there were too many other people on street bikes in my area terrorizing everyone. While bikes were a lot of fun and i certainly miss hoping on one and twisting the throttle I find skydiving much more rewarding and safe. To me it was also about assumption of risk. If something happens to me skydiving or BASE jumping thats one thing, its in my hands, but I dont feel like dying or being paralyzed from some minivan hitting me because the person driving it was on the cell, drinking coffee, screaming at her kids, breast feeding her baby, doing their taxes, and making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Forget Stats Analysis they need a basic course in market research first. A simple focus group OR a test survey would have shown him that the survey he put in place is garbage. If you know a lot of ppl at your DZ, just approach someone and say "hey, if i cover your slot can you help me with (insert skill set here)?" Depending on the jumper and what they have going on they might or might not have you cover their slot. Either way it's cheaper than a coach jump and you can going to get a LOT more out of it then a solo jump. If possible, ask someone who has video as well. If you are comparing your learning curve to the economic cost jumping with someone who has video (and doesnt charge you for it) will save you a LOT of money because you can learn more from it. If you arent comfortable approaching someone like that then ask your AFFI to recomend someone. Thats also a great way to meet people.
