    Wow, your memory is much better than mine. I couldn't remember nearly that much about it but it was one of my favorite editions that I got over the two years or so I subscribed.     Nights without power for miles and everything covered in ice (hopefully just outside) is surreal, when go outside you can hear crackling everywhere and everything sparkles. Hope it doesn't happen to you cause except for a few moments taking it in, it really sucks. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare

    I never had a problem with the pattern as I flew a lot with my Dad as a kid and he was always trying (sometimes in vain) to teach me stuff. The donut thing confused me for a while, the way I remember it and sometimes tell others to when they turn the wrong way dirt diving (will work with the pattern too) is the Hokey Pokey, you put your right hand in, it's a right hand donut etc. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare

    That sounds logical to me too, as far as convenience and coverage goes for participants. But I think they probably set their courses up independent of one another, each as their time and other obligations allow. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare

    I got Hitler too. Don't quite understand why, I just stay away from people I don't like, not out to "kill" anyone. I think there is probably a better person they could've used. I don't think of Hitler as being especially accepting of different types of people, which I am. He also doesn't seem to cautious or nonconfrontational, since he tryed to take on the whole world to be the leader. Which is something I'd never want, much less attempt. But, it's just an on-line test, I don't even care enough to check out who or how it was conceived, could've been a 15 year old for all I know. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare

    I prefer general for myself, I have no problems with after effects, and just as soon not be knowing how long it takes, or be aware of what is happening. Wish I could get this at the Dentist for anything more than cleaning for the same reason. On the other hand, general makes my wife sicker than hell for two days afterwards, and that sucks.     My first reserve ride, last year. My bonehead fault. I had left my main packed in the d-bag, only did a very quick check before closing it into the container. Risers on one side had gotten twisted when main was reattached, I missed it. Bought bottle and beer. Won't bag it before hand anymore. Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare

    But if it "moved in" were you actually close enough to it to gauge how thick? And if so, are you sure it had a consistant thickness from leading edge to what may be under you at exit time? I personally don't like how industrial haze feels to fall thru, aside from visiblity issues which I think are more important. As (from another poster) far as getting the pilot in hot water goes, if he's not, then who is turning on the green light? Mark Edo Concumbui Aethrae Cernuare
