QuoteRide Needed: I am Coming into Hobby on DELTA 1149 on Friday 7/13 due in at 3:30pm. Anyone wanna hook a brotha up with a ride to the DZ?reply] I can pick you up and get you to the DZ. I plan to jump a lot on Wed and Thurs, then take it easy and help out on Friday anyway. Anyone else coming in to Hobby around that time- could probably get about 2 more. This does not make me a shuttle though Nathan Nathan -

I am really excited about this....... I have never been to a boogie- I know beer- so I look forward to seeing what it is all about. I live here in the Houston area and jump at Spaceland, but I am glad that the first day or two seem to be geared some to help the low jumpers. I would assume that there be people there who could advise me on different safety issues that come with boogies, correct????? Also, I plan to be there every day, so if anyone needs any help, or transportation from the airport, let me know. Nathan Nathan -

I did my level 5 jump on Sunday on the sunset load- what a beautiful sight on a nice weekend!!!! On this jump, it really felt like a lot of things finally came together. Do you remeber that jump when it all clicked???? After taking care of my turning skills, I did some tracking and back-sliding. Then all of a sudden my instructor had a little trouble keeping up with me and the wind sounded different. I realized that I finally truely relaxed my body which made me go faster. My instructor wasn't ready for it- on the ground he said "you can fool me once but not twice-I will be ready for you next time".....LOL I hope to do my level 6 on Wed., which now I am even more so looking forward to. It has calmed me down a great deal to know that I can keep myself under control without any help!!! Nathan -
Those are some great pictures to laugh at- Just what I needed!! Nathan

Dave- I wish I could make it but I can't. I will be around there after a while though. I used to spend my summers with my brothers living on 1st St near Northgate. Just the reason I need to go back. I have already heard that y'all have some good things going on. Looking forward to meeting you!! Skymama- Other than the gift from life that my wife and son have been to me, it was the best gift I have ever received. She is defenitely a keeper!!! Nathan -
My first wife didn't, but my second did!!!!!!LOL I am also trying to find my first rig and gear- I can't wait. Nathan Nathan

Just wanted to say hi and that I really enjoy this forum!!! About 4 weeks ago I got married and to start off my honeymoon, my awesome wife surprised me with my first jump. It was a level I tandem and it was awesome. The great thing is that my video got messed up so I had to go back the next weekend and do it again. After that jump, I knew I was hooked. So I started my AFF. I completed my level III jump yesterday and if weather permits I will do my level IV tomorrow. Passing my level III was a big step for me- They Let GO of Me and I can FLY on MY OWN!!!!(at least a little) So I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who shares their information on this forum. It has greatly helped me and put me at ease. I am so thankful to so many people before me that have help to make this sport. Thank you for showing me a new way to see my world. Nathan Nathan
