    Over in Katy, I would say that about 1/3 of people did NOT lose their power during the storm. We were some of the lucky ones- so my house is an AC refuge. At the risk of sounding cheesy.... Times like this really make me look forward to jumping with all you other clowns this coming weekend. Blue Skies to comes!!! Nathan

    I am here in Katy and the winds are getting interesting but are still fine. Galveston is going to really get it. The thing is there is all this standing water and it's not even really raining. With this being such a large storm in size, it's moving a lot of water. Think when the storm actually hits. John Rich- I am with you.... I am always amazed that people are not more prepared- I mean it's only the Gulf Coast in hurricane season!! Nathan

    I am with you on that Sparky!!!! I am afraid that people have the "it's not gonna happen to me" symptom which leads them to think that they can do whatever they want. I like having fun as much as the next person, but not at your expense. The one area I disagree with you is on Sad- it's not only sad, it's F---ing DISGUSTING. These people are NOT part on "my community" they are future meat bombs- I just hope they only hurt themselves. Nathan

    I did my Aff out of a 182 so I had plenty of time to think. This allowed me to eat away at myself mentally. When I was worrying and thinking too much I was doing myself a disservice because i was screwing myslef mentally before the door open or I was in the air- I was starting already behind the 8 ball. To stop it, when I found myself eating away, I would pick a topic and go through the alphabet finding a word that started with each letter. I.E. Cars- Alpha Romeo, Bently,....etc It got me relaxed so well and since I got in a rhythm of doing it so well, I still do it sometimes and it still works for me. Just find what helps you focus your thoughts towards a positive energy or thought. Nathan

    They are powered parachutes. There are 2 and sometimes 3 people that I regulary see right at I10 & 99 (I am in Katy also). They land in a field by the movie theatre Nathan

    Slightly off topic but----I jumped at Moab at the beginning of June and loved it. Those were the best rides to altitude i have ever had- you can see some of the stone arches and the pilot is great at pointing out cool stuff. I would get in touch with Clint (DZO) and see when he will be jumping around then-they normally jump in the morning due to heat and altitude. All the guys there are great- I spent a week partying with them. One of the TM's (Geoff) was my AFF instructor back here in Texas. Nathan

    Question: I have already taken my B license test and do my water training Tomorrow (both at Spaceland). I have all the other requirements for my B done also. I should be faxing my form off right after my training. If I have that form and the DZ could verify my training, would I be able to jump as a B license? Nothing worth making a issue over, just wondering. Thanks Nathan
