It's the time of year I start watching my back, screening my phone calls and locking my doors at night. It's Thanksgiving Heres a few reasons why I fear thanks giving. 2003: Went to Nashville with current gf. She didn't come back with me and broke up with me over the phone. 2002: Different gf - spent holiday with her family, broke up next evening. 2001: Soon after 9/11. Still in military had duty, no leave. 2000: Different gf - we hadn't seen each other in 3 or 4 months, picked her up in DC to take to NY, we relized IT wasn't there anymore. 1999 & 1998 : Military Duty 1997: Basic Training 1996: I was arrested on Turkey Day. Other Years: Had various issues, such as getting in a fist fight with my cousin (we were both 11 or 12 and he started it), in my living room. I'm scared

As do I. Except with tuna. It's a little bland on it's own. Tuna? Really? Never even thought of putting those two together. I knew that was coming!

I was worth every panny. The wine tasteing was free with reservations so we got to drink a lot of great wine also.

It is wonderful, the texture is what gets most people at first. The first time I had octopus I wasn't entralled, it's a little gritty to me. Did you use soy sauce and wasabi? Edit: Fer spelin

Last night there was a wine tasting at a great Sushi Resturant in town. Yumm lots of wine and then a nice Sushi dinner. Is there anyone out there who is still afraid to try sushi? Personally I love it and always but some of my friends won't even try it.

I love Chicago, but being from NY I love that thin greasy NY Style Pizza, and I don't mean that crap that Pizza Hut tries to pass off as NY. That stuff is horrible, than again anything from Pizza Hutt is horrible.

Your Welcome, Pre- Sept. 11 i.e. Vets Day 2000, while I was on assignment to D.C. I had the oppurtunity to spend Vets Day at the Wall. It was pretty incredible.

A lot time as people we can be pretty selfish and most of the stuff we do is to satisfy our own needs. I too fall into that catagory. Recently, I've began volunteering with middle school kids on Friday nights. There's about 250 of them and they are the most fun. I usually spend my Friday's out with friends and having a couple of adult beverages, but the high I get from being around these kids and hopefully having an impact in there lives beats that by far. Anyone else volunteer or do other community service projects? I'm telling ya until you try you won't know how fullfilling it is.

I've had dinner with leaders of the Chinese Army, (At least 4 different generals including they're equivilent of chief of staff.) Coolest thing ever. Also took some colonel's from the Tawainese Army to Shoney's for lunch. They weren't impressed. I miss my old job in the Army!

AAA has been a life saver for me over the years. I used to drive junk cars. Once my car broke down and they gave me up to 100 miles in towing. Even though home was closer, I had them tow me to the dropzone so I could jump. It was a beutiful day and I wasn't gonna waste the day working on my car.

HA Ha Just reminded me of a time last year, me and a friend left work early and went to his father-in-laws to shoot skeet. It was in a big field, completly legal, but a cop showed up gun drawn ready to shoot us after he got a call of shots fired from a neighbor. Funniest thing I ever saw. I though the guy was gonna mess his pants, actually he probably already had. It was he-larious.

PBS - Nova - Had a great documentry on a newspaper in Iran, that is basically run by a group of 20 somethings that embrace western phylosipies and crave freedom. The editor has been jailed numerous times and the newspaper remains open, because of the public outcry if it ever was to close. The Iranians are a very intelligent and advanced society who could move into freedom much easier than a country such as Iraq. I pray that the public support for freedom which is rapant leads to a free society without the horrors of war. P.S. Religious minority in U.S.? Over 75% of the U.S. population claims to be Christian. What would the minority be that you were descibing, Muslims, Jews, Budist, Hari Chrishnas?

I love Rodney! I'd see that show

What about when the ranch did an ad with a guy in a bath tub full of hot dogs. Now that was pretty digusting.

Don't want to be a pouge? 11B anything else. Your a pouge. Me I was a 46Q Coolest job on the military. You get the go everywhere, do everything, and for the most part you're on your own. Schools pretty neat. Like 8-12 weeks in D.C./Baltimore area. Went back twice for advanced courses. But back to the original statement. PLDC taught me if your not an 11b or in the old days 11m. You're a pouge. Hooah
