  1. Welcome, Joe! Good job for registering as a USPA member so fast!
  2. Welcome to the skies! Man, I wish I could jump in CA. A friend of mine was saying how spotless the weather is down there. I'm telling you, next time I visit California, I will have to be dragged off the nearest drop zone because I sure as hell wouldn't want to leave! :)
  3. Welcome, Geoff! I am in training myself, having recently finished my PFF program. I'll see ya around!
  4. Hey hey! I'm in Waterloo myself. I did my first jump at PST back in May, but did my PFF at Niagara Skydive in Dunnville. It has a King Air operating on weekends - (relatively) fast rides up to 13.5kft. :) I'll see ya around, blue skies! Mikhail
  5. 0:6:1 PFF Levels 4 through 7 (hence the beer) and two coach jumps. Best. Weekend. Ever. Need to make one more self-landing and complete the verbal tests before applying for my Solo certificate. This is awesome.
  6. Did my PFF levels 2 and 3. Had to land w/o radio way off the DZ on my 4th jump, oy! (Worked out well, though... talk about stress...) Level 3 was absolutely brilliant! Mucked up the exit but finally got some solo freefall!
  7. Ever more reason to get the license ASAP! Can you provide any details? Thanks!
  8. Thanks for the good gestures, guys. Canadians aren't that sparse around here, are they?
  9. That's pretty awesome, Clayton. I'm trying to get a few jumps in this upcoming Sunday, at least get to the point of only needing one instructor. But yeah, I'm hoping to finish my training this year too. Thanks for popping in my thread, BTW. Mikhail
  10. Hey, everyone! Just wanted to stop lurking and to introduce myself. I'm a third year electrical engineering student at the University of Waterloo, just starting out with PFF at the Niagara Skydive Centre in Dunnville, Ontario (a S/L, an IAD and PFF Level 1 so far). I travel a fair bit from Waterloo so I am always looking for people to carpool with. Show yourselves! Blues skies, Mikhail
