I love this thread and hope it never dies. -
I work at an animal hospital. We don't do appointments, it's first come first serve (unless it's an obvious emergency). We are open from 7am-6pm Mon-Fri and 7am-2pm on Saturday. We deal with almost all of the local animal rescue groups. The lady who runs to poodle rescue group brings in at least 1 or 2 new dogs every week to be checked out (and they're typically not in all that great of shape so the exam takes a little longer than usual). The thing is, she comes in at 5:55pm EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!! If it was someone who didn't come that often it would be one thing. But she does this at least once or twice every single week. Just hearing her name puts everyone in a bad mood.

For about the past 7 months I've been actively searching for a better job. Something that will actually pay me a livable wage. I've been noticing more and more that when I send my cover letter/resume to the e-mail address listed, it immediately spits back an automatic reply telling me to go to a website and fill out all of my information there. All of these websites ask for the same info, and all of them try to sell me something while applying for the job. I'm almost positive that these sites are giving my info to spammers as well. I never got spam in my email until I started filling those out. Anymore, if I get one of these automatic replies, I just delete it. Should I continue filling these out? I'm finding this occurrence in job listings on both craigslist and yahoojobs.

I was there yesterday. Stuck at work looking at the blue skies and absolutely no clouds with it being 70 out. It was especially painful after spending 3 days at the DZ last weekend and only getting 1 jump in due to weather.

This movie is absolutely hysterical. It had me in tears from laughter. The cast is absolutely phenomenal. At the beginning it says, "More of this is true than you would believe." Well I believe that comment because I wouldn't put it past our military to do something like this (the basic concept that is, maybe not quite as screwy as the movie portrays).
