My mom got an artificial knee that sets off every metal detector known to man. The hospital gave her an ID that has an x-ray picture of her knee on it stating that it will set off all metal detectors. She still gets "randomly" searched everytime she goes to the airport.

"It's to busy" If I'm in the gym on a machine and there's more than 3 other people on the machines I'll give up for the day because I don't want to go out of order. Lame I know, but I"m lazy and will look for pretty much any reason to quit the workout early.

I'm trying to connect my altitrack to the computer for the first time to download the data. My computer won't recognize that it's connected though. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how do I fix it?

Alright...so I had told my employer about a month ago that I wasn't comming back to work after the holidays. I work at the coffee house on the university campus in town. The job is total shit. It's the typical thing of being overworked and underpaid. Well, I went in today to see about getting my W-2. Well, my boss started talking about how they can't find anyone to take my shift and they're pretty much screwed without me. So now I'm going back to work on Thursday because I felt bad for leaving them. How can I get away without the guilt eating me up inside? Please help.

Here's Skydive Pennsylvania. We're about 50 miles north of Pittsburgh. The runway is 1 mile long for reference. It doesn't look like it but there are actually several outs outside of the picture. We're lucky because all of the farmers in the area don't mind if we land in their fields. Though I think it helps that our DZO takes a case of beer to each one every month as a way of saying thanks.

That's not cold...that was the temperature on the ground on the day I did the final two jumps to get my A liscense.

Well, in West Virginia they have multiple names for cousin. Such as brother, sister, aunt, uncle, mom, dad, grandmother and grandfather.

Sounds like he was one of the great DZO's. My DZO is the same way. I couldn't imagine jumping without him around. He's always been the first one to straighten me out when I screwed up really bad. Sounds like your DZO will be sorely missed.

My main motivation is the shower. I have zero water pressure at my house. It's an everyday occurance that while in the shower the water will completely shut off for at least 15 minutes. So I'm usually just stuck there with soap in my hair waiting for it to come back on. So, I use the shower at the gym. I started doing this back in October. So far I've lost 20 pounds. Gotta love the motivation a good shower gives.
