  1. How much backtracking have you done? PS: Just watched the video, get your chin off your chest. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  2. Your notification is no voice commands if a signal can't be found or is lost. PS: I tried it today and it worked but was hard to hear in freefall (I'm currently using motorcycle helmet speakers). Under canopy worked well (and was easy to hear). "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  3. Setting voice commands for direction to: Left, Right, Straight, Reverse, Unknown. Setting voice commands for distance to: Above (when distance
  4. Does he have any contact information? I've completed the navigation (with voice commands) and wanted to continue down that path before pursuing performance feedback. Thinking about navigation based on a typical flight path (perpendicular then parallel to jump run) where the turn point is determined based on averaged glide ratio over a period of time. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  5. I've been working on an avigation application (that gives voice commands) and was wondering if anyone else has been doing the same. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  6. Here is the story. So, what do you think, is it to easy to file taxes and get tax returns? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  7. I thought the laws (along with the propaganda) was put in place long before Obama. Maybe you're right though ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  8. Nope. Deceitful title ... Don't dislocate your shoulder reaching like that. Considering I didn't have to reach, I won't. Regardless, you should be worrying about yourself living in Chicago, Illinois ... when you aren't dealing with corrupt politicians you have plenty of gangs and shootings (approximately 50 just this past weekend). Good thing Illinois is so accountable. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  9. I had trouble laughing considering his diary entry about how he slipped acid to unsuspecting civilians at local beaches, and in city bars and restaurants along with his letter ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  10. Nope. Deceitful title ... Nonsense. There's a big graphic early in the article, entitled: "What is your state's risk of corruption?" The article is clearly about the correlation between lack of accountability and corruption. Now, since you're popping a major boner about the OP's use of editorial interpretation in the thread title, rather than just re-quoting the article's title verbatim, note that the article itself is based on a University of Illinois study entitled, "Chicago and Illinois, Leading the Pack in Corruption". Yet the article itself has a completely different title; and nowhere in the article is the title to the actual study repeated. Minnesota is ranked a D+ and yet according to the link: Illinois is ranked C and yet according to the link: One can not determine how corrupt their state is based on the information linked to. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  11. I took two things away from this story. Neither are new ... 1] The government engages in illegal activities without repercussions. 2] The government is hypocritical regarding hallucinogens. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  12. Nope. Deceitful title ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  13. Are you trying to be deceitful with your title? Your link is about how accountable a state is (not how corrupt it is). "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  14. I believe Phoenix-Fly is actually trying to achieve the first figure. That whole "Need 4 Speed" thing ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  15. Agreed. The performance foam appears to be removable so if you get it and don't like it you can remove it. Is it worth it? Performance, I don't know. Preference, I liked it on my Vampire 3 and wished I had it on my Phantom 2. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  16. Are you aware of the difference between the leading edges of Phoenix-Fly and Tonysuits? It's probably similar to Phoenix-Fly's other suits (and nothing like Tonysuits) ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  17. Got a high tail wind, fall slow. Got a high head wind, fly fast. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  18. I have a couple of years and a couple hundred flights on my Phantom 2 (which is smaller than a T-Bird) and I'm not bored yet. If you get bored quickly, it's probably not the suit, it's probably you ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  19. Their reactions reminded me of the paper airplane contests in elementary school.
  20. I stated stall but should clarify that I meant a point when performance falls below max glide ratio and prior to stall. I think I understand your posts (but need some time to think about them) ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  21. I'm not sure I follow. If we compare an individual who flies dynamically (dives, flares, and stalls) to one who flies statically is it impossible for the dynamic flier to ever cover more horizontal distance than the static flier in the vertical window prior to the stall? If it's not impossible, then a dynamic flier could dive, flare, stall, dive, flare, stall, etc... over a given vertical window and cover more horizontal distance than a static flier ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  22. I found this interesting. It set the distance record with a stall in the middle ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  23. As far as S-Fly, I don't think they're worthwhile. As far as Alien, I don't think they're currently worthwhile because they're new (and expensive). Alien hasn't had time to refine their wingsuits or manufacturing process yet ... PS: If this is not a concern for you then you could add their beginner wingsuit to the list. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  24. There is but I don't find them currently worthwhile. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  25. I know of three worthwhile wingsuits for someone with less than 100 flights ... Shadow, Phantom, T-Bird. The Shadow will let you know if you prefer no grippers. The Phantom and T-Bird will let you know if you prefer Phoenix-Fly or TonySuit. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
