That too. Definitely not a "loop" as the rest of the aviation world defines it. Do you understand context? I ask because we're not talking about aviation, we're talking about skydiving ... and Gee, must be why we are regulated in the USA by the Federal AVIATION Administration. However, if you'd prefer "Aeronautic", then we can still have the same definitions as the rest of aeronautics, and our US national organization belongs to the NAA, and the NAA is a member of the FAI. Does backloop have a dictionary definition? No. Thus it's definition is based on common usage in a given context. Regardless, you still haven't answered either of my questions. Can you backfly in a wingsuit? Can you do a backloop (or, as you prefer, a backflip) in a wingsuit? If you can't, it's not to late to get coaching ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I ask because we're not talking about aviation, we're talking about skydiving ... and that is considered a backloop in skydiving. By the way, can you do a backloop (or, as you prefer, a backflip) in a wingsuit? I ask because you were doing wingsuit aerobatics before I even started skydiving ... "That looks dangerous." Very cool, but looks more like backflip than a backloop. Take it up with the USPA. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I did one on video for Douglas ...

Most of your flocking was at "glide ratios around 1:1" and you stated that "1:1 is a piss-poor glide ratio" ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Yes. Did you just agree with that? If you did then we found something we agree upon. It's progress! As far as this thread ... pedophiles and people who help pedophiles should go to prison. PS: All parties are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

US Performance Competition - Acro Invitational (November 2011)
Butters replied to mccordia's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Him, Him, F** Him to all that organized this event. It appears that it was safe, fun, and a step in the right direction. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch -
Not only do you create more turbulence, but it seems you are also a one-trick pony. You might find this helpful. What point? That you lack flying abilities and should get coaching ... PS: I'll continue this discussion with you when you've shown a maturity level beyond that of a child. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

What is your exit weight? It is a simple question you have yet to answer. Not sure why my exit weight matters but it varies between 160 and 170 pounds. So you DO create more turbulence than I do. Thought so. I never said otherwise. So, can you backfly? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

you and Kallend need to get a room. You argue like a couple, and I *know* you're not Kallend's boyfriend..... Yet. Shouldn't you be teaching or organizing or playing a flute or something ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I've found that you can compensate for this by having the leader take between a 30' and 45' instead of a 90' off jump run then taking the remaining 60' or 45' after the flock has built. This can cause issues with different jump runs, multiple flocks per load, etc... so plan ahead. EDIT: Never continue to fly up jump run as anyone tumbling out the door will tumble through the flock! I said 'closer to flatspinning'. The advice was because I've noticed that new backflyers often default to the "chair" position due to comfort, security, etc... which can easily be corrected by following the previously mentioned advice. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

If you think the comments about your ability to fly a wingsuit are negative then do something about it ... get coaching. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

The jump where you flew base in Hungary was 85 MPH down at only a 1.2 Glide. That is no better than can be achieved by a good tracker in a RW suit. www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=2767953;so=ASC;sb=post_latest_reply;#2767312 And yet you wear a large wingsuit with weight instead of your RW suit on those jumps ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

No it doesn't. Illogical conclusion on your part Blah, blah, blah ... go fly a large wingsuit so you don't go low (because you don't know how to get back up), add weight so you don't stay high (because you don't know how to get down), and belly fly (because you can't backfly). First, flocks with glide ratios of 1 to 1 can be fun if they're fast. Second, looks like I was right about larger suits, larger flocks, but the same performance ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I feel bad. I told you before that you were tumbling instead of flatspinning and now I have to tell you that you were closer to flatspinning than corkscrewing ... There are a couple of things I like about this though. You're wearing an appropriate wingsuit and trying new things! PS: From the video I can give you some pointers for backflying. Straighten legs, push up hips, chin off chest ... good luck and have fun. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

There you go again making false statements ... you really are an arrogant, childish, insipid troll who appears to be growing in bitterness while shrinking in cognitive abilities. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Are you implying that someone is trolling? Because that is against the forum rules and should result in a ban to prevent the forums from deteriorating. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

What's your point? There are people from the 99% and 1% who pay (or don't pay) what they owe without (or with) whining. You believe you should pay more but won't pay more until you are required to ... Simultaneous whining and weaseling - have you been taking lessons from Mike? There was no whining or weaseling in my post - you must be losing your cognitive abilities in your old age. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
