  1. I don't agree with people in the food industry doing this but the fact is there are people in the food industry doing this. Besides, I have learned that being polite and leaving descent tips gives me better service upon my return visits to my regular restaurants. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  2. Space exploration was partially a military expenditure. Agreed, education would be a good start. However, I don't think the population (unless we create laws like China) is going to listen (for the same reason people are not listening to any of the other large issues). "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  3. A friend in college was going down on his lady when he tasted blood. He stopped thinking she was having her time of the month only to notice the blood was dripping from his nose. It turns out during her pelvis thrusts she had broken his nose. We all got a lot of laughs out of that one. (In case you are wondering, the reason he did not feel his nose break is that they were both intoxicated.) "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  4. I have heard the exact same argument from an atheist with the idea being that the plants evolved alongside the animals in ways beneficial to the plants. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  5. You complain about overpopulation. Can you imagine the overpopulation without war? (War, disease, etc... are population control for the human species. Sad, but true.) "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  6. What is a SNOW FLAKE? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  7. Let me clarify ... I believe when combined that they will provide an efficient first defense to protect military bases and safe zones. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  8. "I don't want to get the aids fellas." Leopold Stotch "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  9. What's a democrate? Besides, I listened to NPR yesterday and I heard all of the things you mentioned. That's the problem with "liberals". How dare they give us so much information?!? Don't they know that talking points are so much easier to remember? Forgive my mispelling, I am only human. I should clarify, I did not mean that the issues do not get mentioned, I mean that only one side of the issues gets mentioned (the majority of the time). PS: I also listen to NPR. I believe in listening to all sides of an issue in order to make an informed decision. I know to many people that only listen to one source of information to make their decisions. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  10. Ben Stein addressed the current state of the union when he mentioned the housing market, the economy, the lack of terrorist attacks, etc... The things that do not get mentioned on NPR because the programming at NPR is biased towards liberals and democrats. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  11. Non Lethal Directed Energy Weapons (http://www.defense-update.com/features/du-1-05/NLW-DEW.htm) is a positive step forward. I believe when combined that they will provide an efficient first defense. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  12. The causes of pollution and their role in the environment should be taught in the classroom (w/out political or religious ideology). "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  13. Agreed. Bush is not the best president ever, but he is also not the worst president ever. PS: I blame pessimism and lack of rational logic and reasoning. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  14. I read that on the website, stop parroting. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  15. Even video games are no longer safe ... people are getting hurt playing the Nintendo Wii! "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  16. They are the fucking wingnuts who have gotten us to this point in time. They are the people who put this trainwreck in the Whitehouse. If they cant handle that now.. TOUGH FUCKING SHIT.... live with it. Actually, both the democrates and republicans voted for the war in Iraq (along with many other things). If you don't realize that ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  17. Fixed it for you. (You sound like the people you despise, judging the majority based on the minority.) "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  18. How can it be a dictatorship given the roles of the house and the senate (especially since they are currently a democrat majority)? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  19. I was merely trying to address that the early evacuees from Germany had plenty of warning (and reason) if they bothered to listen to the speeches given by Adolph Hitler. Sure does. You were merely trying to state that people move based on their beliefs and sometimes the choice to move proves beneficial to their well being. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  20. I knew you were a Tang-hater all along. tangist (and I don't care if I get banned for it, sometimes you just have to call a tangist what they are) You are right, I like velcro (you may have noticed my velcro shoes) but hate tang. Why? Because tang doesn't have a gigantic pitcher with facial features that crashes through walls like kool-aid. Ooohhhh yeahhh! "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  21. You seem to forget just how much of the things in our daily lives are a DIRECT RESULT of research done in the space program....sheesh. Yes, but the things were invented for space, not because of space. (They could easily have been invented for some other application.) What makes you believe that the government won't colonize the moon and then nuclear bomb the entire planet? Yes, I agree, we need to learn how to get along with each other. We also need to learn how to live in a sustainable way. (Colonizing other planets does not solve these problems, it only delays them.) "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  22. If they are going to make it mandatory to wear helmets, are they also going to supply helmets (at least to those that can not afford to buy a helmet)? Shouldn't they make it mandatory to wear helmets all the time for everyone to protect against head injuries? Can you imagine ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  23. No I haven't. They are no obvious or relevant similarities. Are you simply baiting me for using a WWII analogy? If so, bite me. I'm not looking for a fight (and I realize that you attempted to be impartial). I was just wondering what made you state ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
