I have held multiple discussions with religious people about morals. Many believe that without religion a person has no consequences and that without consequences a person will say and do whatever they want (regardless of morality). I have tried to explain that there exist people that say and do moral things because they believe it is the right thing to say and do, and don't say or do immoral things because they believe it is the wrong thing to say or do, regardless of the consequences. I have also tried to explain to them that I find it disturbing that they believe that without religion there is no reason to say and do moral things because that means that if they were not religious they would see nothing wrong with murdering another person (or other immoral things). I agree. However, using a condom is not everything, it is something. The combination of birth control, condoms, and spermicide reduces the odds of conception to almost 0%. PS: Almost 0% is not 0% and thus there will always be some risk. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Do I care that Saddam was using chemicals weapons against the Kurds. Yes I did think that that was wrong. But it does not justify invading a country, killing thousands and thousands of people, and occupying their country. If you are so concerned about the possible genocide going on around the world, why is your country not invading Africa to help the people of D'Arfur? What about what happened in Chechnya? I don't know what to say. I don't want thousands and thousands of people to die and I don't want to occupy their country. I want to remove a dictator who is committing genocide. If one can not happen without the other ... As far as why America is not doing anything to stop genocide in other regions, politics (and probably other things). I make mistakes too. I'm sorry.
