I noticed that the USPA license number A-50,000 is due soon (or already issued). Am I the only one who is excited about the fact that this is happening or is the issuance of the 50,000th license not a big deal to anyone else in this great sport? Seems to me that a celebration is in order here. btw... who is the lucky recipient? "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest" ~Samuel Clemens MB#4300 Dudeist Skydiver #68

Been doing this for over 22 years now and I can honestly say that the kids working for me now are the hardest working, most dedicated group of professionals I have ever had the pleasure of leading. Parents: you have done well. Fellow service members: It is an honor to serve with you. Those we protect: It is my pleasure to do so. "Always do right. Here's an idea, Invest your money in ME jumping and I will give you detailed debriefs of each and every jump. This way, you get to benefit from the experience of others while eliminating the risk associated with the actual dive. "Always do right. Saw a cookout under the trees this past weekend, smelled pretty good

An excellent suggestion. Get comfortable under the canopy in shallow water before attempting deeper H2O. This is how we used to train Navy Rescue Swimmers who had difficulty [training] with parachutes in deep water and it really does help. "Always do right. Hi and welcome to the gang. I did my AFF (for the second time) at Suffolk and really appreciated the quality of instruction I received. I still jump there and look forward to seeing you around. Thanks. I know I need to jump with some experienced folks (pay for a coach if needed) to better my skills. As of now, I have not had any training beyond my ISP towards my "A". It was just frustrating to not be able to dock, wondering if it was me. I'll keep working on it

So here it is... I am pretty new at RW but I believe I am falling in a very stable body position (i.e. not sliding) as I had no trouble, other than closing position too slow (which is OK for now), as a student. Problem is; I jumped with someone of pretty equal experience a few times and once we exited and released grips to try a redock, we could not get within the same time zone again. How do I know if it is me who is unable to manuver into position or my partner continually sliding away from me? I would like to try some RW with others but due to my experience level, it's tough to do without paying for a coach. Tunnel time is out of the question for now. "Always do right. There was once an Aircrew detailer in the navy last-named "Dickover". I guess when you called him to negotiate a duty assignment you kinda knew what to expect. "Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest" ~Samuel Clemens MB#4300 Dudeist Skydiver #68

There are two guys on my team from Guam. I laughed my ass off the other night when they made "Spam Sushi." California rolls with vegetables, rice, and fried Spam. Ah... the memories of Guam OK, I have one... Baloot (sp). For those that don't know, it's a fertilized and fermented egg. Filipino special I sure do miss the P.I. but they can have the Baloot... While flying as a crewmember in the back of a Navy CH-46 helicopter, I hooked up my gunners (safety) belt to the open ramp hatch and threw the other end out, along with my comm cord, into thin air. It took a couple of minutes of silence from me for one of the pilots to look back and realize I had "fallen out" of the helo. The pilots were like... "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit... where is he... oh shit... I had to fess up though as they were about to call ATC to report that I had fallen out. "Always do right. Gee, I wish I could have been a part of this thread last night but I was "busy". As for the stats... I'm over 40 and have as much sex drive today as I did when I was 21. It's all about who your with. If you ladies are not "getting it" as much as you want remember, we men are aroused by visual stimulation (mostly). How do you look to us???????? "Always do right. OK, only spend about the cost of 8 jump tickets a week on food (I need to eat less and jump more) but you got the idea. Thanks for the gouge

Thanks. Current exit WT is about 200 lbs. I know I am not ready to downsize below 200 yet, although I am standing up all my landings with no wind on a 230. I just figured that after about 150-200 jumps I might want to go smaller. Don't want to skip meals for a week to buy a rig if it's not going to serve my purposes long term. "Always do right.
