Lead Aerodyne has licensed the SkyHook from Parachutes Patents, Inc. And we are bussy this the technical details of including the SkyHook in the Icon, and then will do the needed R&D and Drop testing, once this is all out the way, we will offer the SkyHook in the Icon Sports and Icon Student Harness. We are not yet sure if it will be offered as a retro fit, nor do we know the exact date of release. See attached link for some basic info. http://www.flyaerodyne.com/newsletter/end022007.htm We will be keepinh everybody informed as to the progress. Having only been there once this past December for the Holiday Boogie, I have to disagree that Eloy is no longer a safe place to jump. The way the staff and Inst attended to the education and safety of jumpers while I was at the dz was very noticeable and I was impressed that even with the large number of jumpers and loads in a single day, Eloy was very attentive to making sure that basic safety was adhered to. On the jumps that I did, there was always a person making sure the load knew the wind direction, landing pattern etc. Having said all this, there is alwasy the "unknown factor" and the fact that this sport is a high risk activity, that could cause death or serious injury should always be a first last and continued thought when skydiving.

HoneyBee Most if not all manufacturers have Reserves that can be used as Mains for the purpose of demo. They have a bridle attachment point sown onto them, to allow for the main d-bag and pilot chute to be attached. We at Aerodyne have most of the popular Smart Reserve Sizes available for Demo, and I take them with me to all the events that I attend, they are not as popular as any of the mains when it comes to being demo'd, but they are available. Hope that helps. Karl Meyer Sales Representative Aerodyne Research Office: 1 813 891 6300 www.flyaerodyne.com

between buying a car, falling in love and working, I seem to have had no chance to get any jumps in, and I missed out on the DSB ... weather was iffy

Kevin You'll notice on the Pilot that we have color coded line attachment points, to help you flake out the canopy and also to identify the line groups while packing. Here is how I'd pack the Pilot. Once all the needed stuff like stowing the brakes and setting the slider are done, and you have walked the lines up and have them over your shoulder. Flake out the lines set groups and cells. Count out the nose and place it between your legs. Take the nose and set it just into the canopy (I do a little shaking of the nose to allow the canopy to settle either side). Fold the stabilizers over, then grab the tail and pull it up and over. Roll the tail a few times but not tight. Lay the canopy down and fold into the bag and stow the lines in a neat and even manor, leaving about a foot to a foot and a half of free stow. Let me know if this help, or you can PM me and I'll send a CD out with the Demo you have just placed. Blue Skies Karl

Eric Without getting in to the reasons for the Diablo being discontinued, I would like to suggest that in light of your jump numbers, exit weight and time in sport, you look at a suitable square canopy to demo and then depending on what you like work with your local distributor on buying one, or look for a good deal on a used on of your choice. We run a great demo program here at Aerodyne and I would suggest you look at the Pilot 210 or 188 or Triathlon 210or 190 (ask your Inst first) to demo. Give us a call at the office and chat to either me for additional info, or talk to Sandy Kimball about our demo program.
