OK, so when I posted a Need a Roommate on this same forum a few months back it was deleted and I was PM'd by a Mod saying it was not the right forum for advertising .... When did the rules change?

Matty Your best best (or one of them) would be to get in touch with Divewerkz, they a great 4-Way Team out there, nd run an amazing coaching mentor camp, and would be more than willing to assist you in both tunnel and basic RW skills www.divewerkz.org Contact: Blane, Murel, Anne or Cindy You wont be sorry

Welcome to the club.

Chanti Your first point of contact would be to address this direct with the jumper in question, explain your concerns etc, if he blows you off, have a chat to the Duty instructor, and if they blow you off go to the DZO, where upon if you have no response or no action is taken, write a letter to the DZO and express that as much as your enjoy jumping at that DZ and have built a good friends base etc, you will not be willing to risk your own and others safety due to one individual no one is willing to confront to put into place. I would then get a letter to the NSTO of PASA, let him know the path you took and the results you had, in the end he is a very vigilant individual and trust me it will not go unnoticed. The DZ is a business and in the end of the day they are there to make money, so your voice should be heard, and be willing to move to a new DZ if you have no success in getting this matter to a point of resolution. I have to say you have great taste ;-)

What?? You haven't even cooked me breakfast yet! Well the breakfast cums when we are done doing what we need to do in the morning to keep skymama happy (nudge nudge, wink wink)

This is not the "getting blown by Andrea" I was expecting
-
Is that not a form of extortion ...

Funny thing is that I was jumping a Aerodyne System before I ever worked for them and even back then I was very happy with my choice in gear

Thanks Mike

I've been jumping and Icon I3 for the past three years. Still one of the better rigs on the market, but then again some might say I have a bias towards them

The soft links are easy to inspect if the ring, or tab is tacked down, and if need be, when you do a inspection removing and replacing the tack should be part of your inspection of the soft links. Many jumpers also never replace soft links when they reline canopies, I would suggest that be part of the reline.
-
Daniel YES, have your local rigger tack the rings into place using "waxcord", this will prevent the ring from rotating outwardly and possibly causing interference with your steering line. In fact all soft links should be tacked into place to prevent such a issue. Let me know if you have any other questions in this or any other Aerodyne matter. Pisa Sonic 190 Does ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING?
kaerodyne replied to Dangerousmind86's topic in Gear and Rigging
I would have to disagree with this statement, the Hornet was the canopy that replaced the Sonic in the PISA product line. The Pilot by far is a more all round canopy than both the Sonic or Hornet, and is a great start up canopy a light WL and an awesome canopy to fly and land at a higher WL. Blue Skies Karl -
:6:0 No nookie, my babe is away on biz .... But I got to do 6 jumps with a selection from the Norway large Formation Camp in Deland this weekend, Solly Williams was the coach, we had a blast and learnt heaps of stuff. Thanks Solly and the Norgies. Sunday was a wash in Deland

Pisa Sonic 190 Does ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING?
kaerodyne replied to Dangerousmind86's topic in Gear and Rigging
Andy Do you know the DOM (Date of Manufature) of this canopy the Sonic has not been produced for over 8yrs if memory serves me correct. So eitherm this canopy was hardly jumped and then stored or the nearly new only 11 jumps was pure iused car sales man talk -
0:2:0 So far only two jumps on Saturday with the DeLand Norway Basic Camp jumpers building a 38-Way .... well it ended up being a 26-Way. Not bad for a bunch of jumpers with an avaerge of 200 jumps. Now for the start of the Norway Big Way Camp @ DeLand.

John Does your Triathlon have Spectra or Dacron lines, I'm sure you might have spoken to me on the phone and if so i would have suggested Darcon as it has some stretch to it, and will help with the opening shock. Even with the wingloading being in the "resonable" zone, your terminal speed will be higher than most, and this could be part of the issues. Here are some ways to reduce the opening shock. - Darcon Lines - Correct Line Stow - F-111 Pilotchute - Alternative Packing Method Please feel free to call me at the office anytime and chat to me or Sandy and we will assist you in this. No, but I want to, and I'm gonna ask both my parachute dealer and one of the owners of Aerodyne (who occationally jumps at my DZ) to let me jump a demo version of it. (My parachute dealer doesn't have demo versions of the Smart yet). Get in-touch with Arnold Collenteur he is the Eurpoean Sales Rep, and he has Smart Reserves for demo. arnold@flyaerodyne.com If you dont hear from him, e-mail me and i'll follow up for you. On the subject of the Pilot 132, it seems like you might have been the victim of others Ego, when they suggested you buy a canopy that is at this time in the sport to small for you. In time as you get more jumps and skill you will most likely be looking to get off the Sabre 150 and look at a smaller canopy in the 132 range. So I would keep the Pilot and when your ready in a few hundred jumps there will be a new Pilot 132 ready to jump. Please feel free to contact us at Aerodyne if you have any questions.
