I asked this queston a couple of months ago but I figured since it is getting close to the Boogie ( March 4th till the 9th ) That I would ask it again. Who all plans to attend with there suites. I have about 35 solo jumps on my classic. ( No one else at the dropzone has one yet ) And I am looking forward to making some dives with fellow birdmen or Ladies. Anyway let me know.

I own a Diablo 150, and I wing load it pretty good 1.7 I have some awsome swoops out of it, but I am doing 270 hooks to get them, It like most canopies will do what ever your experience or nerves will allow you to do. I have replaced it with a new xaos 120. which I get better swoops from without the 270, ( I have not got that far with it as of yet ). I have only made a few jumps on a stiletto, and it is a great canopy it flies much different then the diablo. But I liked the openings on the diablo better. But If you know how you can make any canopy swoop. Some just better then others. Still here after all these years Clayton

Well it seems like one thing that almost everyone has agreed on is keeping a fix on the horizon and maintaining good body position. I will be coming in from Offshore on the 11th and will have 4 weeks off work for christmas, I want to thank everyone that has provided me with information and replied to my post. I have something to work on and with 4 weeks of jumping I am sure that I will be able to work through this. I definitly will have a better idea of what to look for and to do concerning packing and body position. This being my first cross braced canopy, I wanted to take advantage of every one elses experiences with the xaos. I will be sure to update this post as to what has or has not worked for me. Yes I down sized from a 150 Diablo which I was wingloading at about 1.7 I never had any problems with that canopy in over 400 jumps other then a cut away due to a break line coming unstowed on opening.( It got hung up on the slider and when the other break was released still kept spinning hard ) I still use that canopy for my wing suite. And I am sure That with me loading this canopy as much as I am that any bad body position habits are going to come to light. To be honest though I do not really remember if all of my line twist were in the same direction. Still here after all these years Clayton

Hey Kevin, I remember your face, It's been a while, I think me and you had rode together back from a beach load once. I am looking forward to making some jumps with other wing suite flyers. Maybe there will be several floks there for the boogie. We could set a Mississippi state record. It now stand at 1. Just me. Still here after all these years Clayton

I know Johnny, We gave him a Blind man spotting award at the 2000 Boogie, We had made a beach load and everyone on the load with the exception of him and one other landed in the Gulf. But try to make it we have a great time at the Boogie and there are some really great people down here. Still here after all these years Clayton

I should have figured that I was not alone with this idea, But I wanted to share it anyway. And sorry about the Blank post. I hit the wrong button. Still here after all these years Clayton

Hello everyone, I had an Idea the other day that I wanted to share with everyone. It has to do with our gear, Everyone that skydives has invested a lot of money in the gear that we use and the thought of our gear being stolen is a thought that makes me sick. It would be hard to replace the gear that I have accumulated, So what I did to help me if That ever was to happen is, I made a spread sheet using Excel. It list all of my gear and the serial numbers, Date purchased, colors, Ect. I then put a hyperlink to a photo of each piece of equipment. I put all of this info in one folder. Then burned it all to 2 disk. one I keep at my house and one I put away for safe keeping somewhere else. If God forbid my gear ever was to come up missing. I can make copies of the disk and distribute to the authorities and to different drop zones in hope that someone would be able to help. I am sure that someone else has probably thought of this but just in case, I wanted to share this with everyone. Still here after all these years Clayton

Rickypaul told me that he is going to get one pretty soon but he hardly ever sky dives anymore, He has been doing a lot of base jumping though, They just got back from the cave in mexico. I seen the video looks like they had a blast. And John has not said anything about getting one as of yet. But I know that him and david were wanting to get one before they go to Norway next year.
