    XM Radio

XM is in addition to all the other functions of your stereo. Everything else still works - AM, FM, CD player, etc.. XM is just an additional audio channel. If you have an XM ready receiver(look on the front, it will say if it is) you can just buy a receiver that mounts somewhere under your dash and an antenna. The deck(the stereo unit in your dash) will control the receiver. If it is not XM ready, you can buy a stand alone unit like Delphi that connects to your stereo in one of several different ways. Check out.... XM Radio Introduction and... Delphi Mike
  2. A break?! Looks to me like they are both diligently monitoring the autopilot.. I think they probably are on their best behavior now that they know there's a webcam there.. Mike
  3. I too was wasted and passed out by 3am....I know I called a couple people, just don't remember who...they were on the west coast, though.....just cuz I remember one of 'em yelling something about it being almost midnight.. Mike

I've had it for a couple months now...absolutely love it! No matter what I'm in the mood for, it's there. Mike
  5. When is this competition? I'm assuming it'll be at SSM...? If I'm scheduled to be off work when you have it, I may make the trip to Texas for it. For me, the biggest draw to anything is the people. The next biggest is the aircraft. I don't care about specialty aircraft....just ENOUGH aircraft... I hate sitting for an hour waiting for a load because there's only one airplane and it takes 30 minutes to get to altitude. Mike
  6. At least they're not standing there with their rigs on waiting for it to be pulled out.. Mike
  7. You haven't dove the SG yet? Wow...I thought everybody in Florida had.. I went out there with a few friends one weekday. We got to the shop that runs the boat, asked if they had a trip planned for the day(we didn't call ahead, kind of a spur of the moment thing on the way back from diving the Wilkes)...they did not..we asked how many people they needed to sent the boat out. There were 4 of us, and they said that would be fine. We start lugging our tec gear out of our trucks(doubles, stage bottles, deco bottles, and scooters) and they just about shit themselves.. After they asked about our experience level and what we planned on doing....they all grabbed their doubles/deco bottles and joined us.. We had a guide to show us the entry points on the SG, and we spent a good 90 mins cruising around inside. They did a fair job at sealing most of the tighter stuff off, but since it went down early, there were some things they missed....we even found a welding machine in one of the corridors.. Mike
  8. Yes, there are plenty of artificial reefs off the coast from Daytona to Jacksonville....but the problem is that most of them are 20+ miles out, and the boats out of those areas have a 50%+ cancellation rate due to sea conditions. Plus, the visibility usually sucks out there. I've been on many wrecks out there..and only once did I find vis better than 20'...and that was at 280' deep. From surface to 280 we had about 10' vis....from 280 to the bottom, better than 100'. Mike
  9. I've gotta second this one....I've been out with Parrot Island on both of their boats(actually, they used to have 4 - I've dove off of all 4) several times. They're great for recreational dives. I don't use them much anymore...I do mostly six packs since I do 90% tec diving. Another boat I used to use fairly often(but haven't been on in a while) for recreational diving is http://www.idivestarfish.com/ . You can also go to http://dive.scubadiving.com/talk/list.php?f=1 and ask about dive operators there.. Mike

  12. Cool. Why the webcams in the cockpit? I just hope that the cams don't have integrated microphones....some interesting conversations can come up in the cockpit on a long flight.. Mike
  13. In Deland area, there is no good ocean diving...but there are a few springs. What dates are you gonna be looking to dive? If I'm not busy, I'll take ya to some of the local springs. Mike edit: PM me with the dates if it's really soon...I may not see this post for a while..
  14. What you just described is my biggest fear in skydiving....the part that I am not in control.. I hope you heal completely and continue skydiving. Mike

What dates? It's not on the Skydive Perris calendar(or the dz.com events page for that matter!). Mike
  16. Damn dude, you're extremely lucky. Any long term effects? Were the guys caught? I had a guy try to rob me at an ATM one night. He had a knife. Unfortunately for him, I had a gun. I have mixed feelings about his survival...but at least he's in prison for a long time(he had murdered others he robbed). Mike
  17. Hey....what can I say, but....OINK! Mike
