That's pretty damn impressive. Most people are lucky to be able to work in 5 hours a month between money and time constraints...you did well over double that! If you make it down to Florida(I'm in Orlando) and want to go do some aerobatic flying...drop me a line. I have access to a couple different aerobatic airplanes(a Citabria and a Pitts S2B). If you're jumping at Rantoul, we'll make a jump or two together. Maybe we can set up an all pilot way jump.. Mike

Wow, that is a lot of time for a private.....kudos to you for sticking it out. I hope you're maintaining currency now that you're certified! It's not her first reserve ride...maybe first SQUARE reserve ride.. I seem to recall her saying she had had a couple of cutaways on rounds with Capewells(though, I was in an alcohol induced fog then - I may be wrong).. Mike

There CAN be a decent profit if you have the airplane at a busy DZ....but one little problem like a toasted engine and you're a couple hundred grand in the hole. Insurance may cover some engine loss situations, but not all of them. If it just happens to suffer a catastrophic failure and is not covered by a program like MSP...you're hosed.. Mike
