At least these 20,000 folks covered their butt and did not get caught. While they may engage in so called insider trading, when they got rich, they spreaded the wealth by helping other small players make some money too. Martha on the other hand, I think (and just my opinion) is plain greedy. I think she's got a huge ego as well. And when you want it all, and can't get enough, just prepare for the hard fall. She probably pissed off enough people that when she off-loaded her Imclone shares right before it tanked, that opportunity gave someone enough dirt to take her out. Now even her Martha Stewart Inc stocks are going to take a hit. I guess she can take all the stock certificates and wallpaper her cell. My other ride is the relative wind.

Speaking of parking... There's an elevated parking place right next to the North Beach police station. It think it's on Vallencia if I'm not mistaken. It's like $2 for the first hour and $1 for every hour after that. One more restaurant recommendation is the New Sun Hong Kong if you're interested in some good inexpensive chinese eats. Just go along North Beach in SF - lots of strip clubs there. Bars, restaurants++ Highly recommend North Beach Pizza. My other ride is the relative wind.

This year's American Boogie because I'd love to try a helicopter jump and skyvan (never did a tail exit). Got an INS appointment of all days, June 28. Right in the middle of the boogie, 800+ miles south, and the only day the chopper jumps are offered. My other ride is the relative wind.

Check out BatteryMegasource on eBay. I bought 2 NP-FS21 from them. Works just as well as Sony originals, and only $30 each. My other ride is the relative wind.

I was looking at the Epson C82 alongside the HP 5550. In all, I thought the C82 was a better buy in terms of print quality and features (ability to replace one color at a time). What do you guys think? My other ride is the relative wind.

Ah... Kobe beef. That's why it costs $41. Rumor has it that these cows get liquored up with some special wine, and get a full body massage while it. Most definitely. There's got to be some truth of certain agencies that receive inadequate funding. (Why do you think you receive shitty service?) There are lots of R&D operations that depend solely on grants ++. These guys most certainly don't have cash to burn. And also consider the length of time these places depreciate their stuff. So when their latest greatest piece of hardware from 1992 not longer does the job, they may not have the luxury to conveniently replace them with new ones. The beauty of open source is that it can run on very old hardware. And being open source, you can at least use talent as currency to pay your way. If it weren't for NetBSD and Linux, my IIci and 8500/120 would have been reincarnated into Cypresses hopefully. They've served me well on their original OS, and still serving me well today.
