The Supreme Court has never stated that firearm ownership is a collective right governed by the State. The case that the anti-gunners use only stated that a sawed off shotgun was not guaranteed by the Constitution. Moreover, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, earlier this year, stated that the right of the "Individual" to own firearms is guaranteed by the Second Amendment. The Courts agree with the NRA.

I am not sure how you took my note on this thread? In reality, I could not agree with you more. Asking for gear checks, constantly scanning the gear of those you are on the plane with, cheerfuly doing gear checks when asked, is a "habit" that should be added to one's other good

I am looking for some feedback regarding what looks to be excessive wear on the PC kill line of my rig. While I was packing a local (I was visiting another DZ) came up and asked me about the kill line of my rig. He told me his had to be replaced after 100 jumps because of wear cause by the nut on the link that is inside the D-bag. My rig had 50 jumps on it at the time and it is showing considerable wear already. So two questions come to mind. 1) Have any of you seen this and what have you done to fix it, and 2) He told me that the fix he used was to replace the link with a split ring like the ones on a key ring! What do you think about that? I have e-mailed the manufacture and I have not heard anything back as of yet and before anyone wants to warn me .....I promise I will not do anything without comment from the manufacturer My rigger also wants to see what they have to say. PS, I tried searching the forum and I did not find an answer. I don't know about all the allergy stuff but, I put SuperBandz on my rig when I assembled it. I have 60 jumps on them now and I have replaced 2 of them. (I do not have them on the bag flap positions) I like them as they hold the mirco lines very well. When they are new they are harder to work with and I have not found a packer yet that likes them because of that. (They are harder to work with) I keep a close eye on the lines and make sure not to cross over to another loop (I know you should do that all the time ) as my rigger and I wonder if these banz would break during deployment, like a regular rubber band would, if this mistake was made. Something to think about........ Anyway, I plan to keep using them. If the values are as you say, and with the lenders holding fists full of cash they want/need to lend, I am sure you would have no problem finding a firm that would carry 100% of the loan. You may have to talk to a few of them but I know, from experience, they are out there. Good luck

I only responded to your sarcastic reply. I am interested in why others think as they do. It is a great way to learn about my perspective and how it compares others viewpoints. I'm sorry, but I don't care what they "appeared" to do. America is her people and visa versa. Death to her people was a prime motivator. I don't see Bush the same way you do I guess. I see him as an extremely smart man whose intelligence is being blasted by the opposite party, the media and the uniformed. I agree he directs attention toward Iraq instead of the economy because they (the media and the Dems)will blame W. for a sluggish economy. What should be talked about (if you want to talk about the economy) is how the Clinton Administration altered the accounting numbers during his last term to show a "strong economy" when it was already turning south.
