I think that this is part of the issue. True, plenty of non-violent offenders get released early. But I can see some policy reasons for allowing it. If I were to be put in the can for 30 days, I'd be ruined. My family would be ruined. There's a good chance we'd lose the house and my business from it. Let's take a look at Joe Schmoe scheduled for house arrest. Then look at Paris Hilton on house arrest. There are some pretty important differences that are associated with it. TO have Paris Hilton be forced to remain in a multi-thousands square foot house versus a 1,200 square foot house? That's not punishment. I don't believe she should be serving the full 45 days. Frankly, I reckon she'll have learned her lesson after a week in the can. But let's think about punishment for her: 1) House arrest? No. That's not punishment with her house. 2) A hefty fine? $10k doesn't mean shit to her. 3) 2 or 3 weeks in jail? Yeah. That'll be punishment for her. It's something that will stick. I think you bring out a very important point. For her to learn from her mistake, she has to have a punishment that will really affect her life and help realize that she made a poor choice and that when you make decisions, you have to live out the consequences of that choice. I love beagles...they are my very favorite. As for getting a dog with children around - in my opinion stay away from cocker spaniels...they can get nippy around kids. Border collies, labs, and retrievers are great! Our last one was a mutt from mexico and she has been wonderful! :8:0 Lots of jumps for me for a weekend - even though a good portion of our jumpers were in the coach course we still managed to get some time in the air. Livendive - you did a great job this weekend! When I got my hood piercing, I felt like a virgin all over again. It was amazing how a piece of metal can change your outlook on sex! I've been with a man who was pierced, and I have to say... Not bad at all. It's a different feeling that is really too hard to explain. 1.) Agreed....and still feels great, and makes riding the skyvan that much more entertaining. 2.) Agreed....I have been with a guy who was pierced.....Yep, I happened to like it. However, wouldn't want to watch a guy torture himself like that or have him get pierced just for me - DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!

Did she mention she's been married for like 3 weeks? Blues, Dave nah....we have been married for almost 4 months now...wow time is flying by fast. I know, I know.....still newlyweds. However - we have been together for over 5 years. Now granted that isn't very long when you look at Vskydiver and john....but I agree.....if the sex is good well......Maybe when doc and I grow up we can be like them. Hi A Me thinks the lubrication (beer) serves a dual purpose. Primary would be to clean the foot prior to starting. Secondary would be to reduce the coefficient of friction between the toes & tongue. Practice, practice, practice. -
Doc and I will do our best to be there....will have to check the work schedule first of course. But I will definitely get back to ya! It's been my experience both in the field for the last 15 years as a paramedic and at the dropzone for the last 7 years that these are not the people to rely on...well maybe the EMT, Due to the fact that you guys are simply not trained in prehospital medicine. More times than not Nurses, Docs, RTs.etc.etc. tend to hamper care than aid in patients care. Way too much ego it seems sometimes. I disagree, I am an ER nurse by trade...am certified for trauma and ACLS protocol......as are the people that I mentioned above. I may not always be a first responder as you are .... something that I truly respect, however, I do know how to handle trauma in first line offensive measures and have done so on many occasions. The people that I mention above are all ACLS/Trauma certified. I agree that in general if they are from a med/surg floor or family practice or other areas that do not handle emergent life threatening events that they may not be the people that you want there, however, if there are ER crew there - they are trained to handle these kind of circumstances as well as you are.
