You know, Johnny, that belt wouldn't have broken if you didn't weigh 240 pounds.

That link does not take me to anything other than a business homepage.

Nice job. For tricks, I don't currently do anything other than backflying, front loops, and 360 degree flat-spin turns that end up on the original heading. Chuck

As previously stated, the cost per item is all decided by how many objects you can fit on the same piece of high-grade vinyl. As to the cost of the machines, it all depends on what you are looking for. The machines that use a CAD program, like a Gerber Edge and the Mylec machines, can be extremely expensive. Still there are cheap enough options for single-color graphics that plenty of sign shops have them. The machines that also print color on top of vinyl (specifically Gerber Edge) are much more pricey. Those are the machines that cut all the graphics for all the NASCAR race teams, etc. As to standard fare decal kits, you might be best off either looking at Malcom Smith Racing or Troy Lee Designs; both make really cool sticker kits for whatever you choose to stick them on.

I am the last man standing. You can believe that. Pyke is attempting to sleep in the MonkeyBago, but I doubt he will be successful for quite some time.

0:12:0 The weather has been very "off and on" here, but I have still managed to get in plenty of work and demo jumps. Plenty of out-of-towners here at Raeford this weekend, so if nothing else, we have partied very heavily and make the best of it. Pyke has posted about it, but there are actually like four people from Monroe here this weekend. Right now it's raining very hard, but there are not less than 35 people standing on top of picnic tables under a tent, eating tons and tons of food off the grill, drinking stump liquor, and generally being rowdy. One monkey name awarded: "Kiwi Monkey". Pyke is a complete riot! Hasta luego, for the weekend is not over till tomorrow evening. Chuckie

Pyke and company are on the premesis! Actually, there is quite a good crowd here. The weather is kind of hosing us today (Otter load 4 just took off), but it's going to be a great evening. Also here is Mike Hunt (AUfreefly) from Thomaston. Chuck

Nice, but if you look at the dates on those posts are gleaning "my" knowledge from you will find that this, while still relevant to recreational swoopers, is dated information. I switched back to standard risers quite a while ago; when I started rear-risering my landings. Things change.....period. To "keep up with the Joneses" you have to adapt or get left in the dust. I have done that, as have most everybody that competes. Does this mean that I put out bad poop two years ago? I don't think so. I still believe that trips have benefits and as a matter of fact, I still have them on one of my rigs just for shits and grins and comparison sake. Now, as to the altimeter issue, I urge you to ask any of the Flight One PD pilots what their turn-in altitude is. I did, as I saw that they were making their turns a bit lower than I was. Their answer: "700 feet". As they are very goal-oriented pilots, you can bet your ass that they keep track of the "five W's" . Still, dig on me all you want to, my brother. I have been in the game a very long time, but am not too old to learn from better pilots. That is what keeps me going, pure and simple. When it gets boring, or you start sucking, then it's time to learn a new trick. I can assure you that I don't suck, nor do I rest on my laurels or worry about the past. Swooping is now science. This science is incredibly evident when you compare video of today from that of two, even one year ago. There are FAR fewer people slamming into the water, the beach, or whatever else nowadays. This is because we learn from the better pilots and our own mistakes. Peace, Chuck
