GK Dave Wherley is doing the video. It ought to rule.

Uh, no. He was not there. He is not in the service.

Nice pics! My head seems to be taking up the majority of the second one though. Damn, I am on eexy motherfucker! Chuckie

Amish got caught TOTALLY off guard because we did not get him right after the jump. We actually did it the next day. There is no statute of limitation of pies in the face. Chuck

I still want to know if what Lisa Briggs told me is true....

Chuck's response: yes she is.

0:18:0 I had a very good weekend. Lots of out of town friends here this weekend. Way too much going on to post in this thread.

I had a 1968 Camaro Z-28, white with black "mean streaks". Black interior. Muncie M-22. Original mono-leaf rear. I blew two rods straight out the oil pan on the original 302 and replaced it with a 327 350-horse out of a 68 Vette. That's one of the cars I should have never sold. Chuck

How do you land a skysurf board?
SkymonkeyONE replied to jkeeling's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
When I was still skysurfing, I totally slid out the landings ON the board. I simply kicked off my rear ankle strap under canopy that way I could pull the foot out of the binding if I was going to fall over left or right. It was mad fun downwinding it and sliding clean accross the DZ. This was 1990 and we all had different bindings then. I was happy to see a boogie-goer this weekend here sliding his board to a complete stop, just like I used to. Chuck -
It is done. I personally made 18 jumps, mostly BirdMan flocks. I am tired. The florida contingent left in two groups this afternoon; all had a blast, just ask them. Last jump of the day, my fellow S&TA, our very-own Raefordite caught a bad piece of air and was injured. I "think" it's just a dislocation of the left ankle, but it sure did look kookie. I hope it's not anything more. Winds were honking about half the day today, so thankfully that was the only injury. There was some outstanding skydiving going on, that's for sure. Lots of smiling faces exiting our CASA 212 and Otter all weekend. Some of my favorite people in the world made the trip to be here. Several from well over 1000 miles away. Ohio, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, and Virginia were present. We were not sucking! I hope you all made it home OK. See you soon! Chuck Blue Raeford Parachute Center

It was an awesome holiday boogie. I made 18 jumps; mostly BirdMan. I was happy to see some of my very favorite people in the world arrive here and partake in Raeford Monkey Madness. I promise you, we do not suck here at Raeford. Scott Campos (Lou Diamond) was donned a new BM-I at the event and did at least three FFC's that I can recall. It was great. All the new birdies had a blast; all the intermediates made great inprovements in their skills; and those us us in the upper tier really had fun showing off and sticking our tongues out at each other. Today was the most eventful as far as misadventure went. Jari had a spinner on his team velocity today, but we easilly found the main even in very high winds. It took some fiddling to get his freebag out of a tree, but my boy Rixter Neely showed his true Mississippi redneck tree-climbing style and got that out as well. Last incident came when our boy Jari decided he could vault the fence between the school and the driveway. He is now suffering from a lovely, leaky abasion on the inside of his arm. I fixed him up with some alcohol pads and sent the crew on their merry way. Bottom line: it was fucking awesome. Of additional note is that I look damn sexy in my new Pantz. Thanks, my brother. Last BirdMan flock of the day was a nine-way. Lot's and lots of nice skydives today. I am absolutely not sucking.

Da Gimp lived through his first two flights today and is now hopelessly addicted to wingsuit crack. There, unfortunately, is no cure. Chuck

First flights were made out here as well by Phreezone, MonkeyLip, and PYKE! All did very well and now understand the meaning of life. -
Tandem Instructors: Helmets?
SkymonkeyONE replied to Hooknswoop's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Here at Raeford we have the following rules: Passenger wears a frap hat. TM wears a helmet one level harder. I wear my Pimp Mindwarp and my other TM's wear my two penis mindwarps or whatever other hard helmet they own. Reasons? I want my passengers wearing something on their heads that is not going to hurt me if they head-butt me. We wear hard helmets so that is we see the head-butt coming we can turn our heads and avoid scars on our chins like I have currently (under my goatee). I have done many a tandem with no helmet, but have no problem abiding by our school SOP. Besides, my helmet is totally cool. Chuck -
There is no substitute.

Check it: we already did a four way today, but we have seven suits on hand right now. Jari gets here tomorrow with a ton. We are kicking it Skymonke style. Wish you all were here. Chuck Blue a man barely alive BM-I
