  1. Of the two? I would say WCC, but that vote has nothing to do with Jesse James. The great majority of the "theme" bikes that OCC builds are complete abortions. There is very, very little actual hardware customization in any of their bikes. The little bangles and add-ons they fabricate are completely gay as well. The "consumer" bikes they sell to the public have absolutely ZERO proprietary parts on them and are all built from off the shelf parts. Both WCC and OCC charge more than $10,000 more for their "brand" than any other "manufacturer" (read: assembler of aftermarket parts). That extra ten K gets you nothing and simply pays for the new million dollar motorhomes and cars that the owners of the companies buy these days. In Jesse's case, it pays a lot of alimony and buys a lot of meth. There are far more affordable aftermarket kit bikes out there than either of those two choices. As far as that goes, I think that any "vanity" chopper with a 130 inch motor and a 250 out back, but is running a fucking BELT is laughable. I blister these rich jackasses on a regular basis as they simply cannot get their bikes to hook-up or they will pop their weenie-strength belts. Thanks, but I figured that out a LONG time ago and replaced my belt with a 10,000 pound Tsubaki racing chain. It ain't breaking. Yes, I have to clean my billet back wheel more often, but who gives a rats ass; I actually ride my sled. Chuck 1987 Boyce FXLR "the RedBone Express"

    Hola!

someone let the ass monkey out of his cage! Hooty HOO!
  3. Just back from the DZ. My suit is unfuckingbelievable. Seriously. I will post the pics later.
  4. I don't believe the Mylar stiffners in the wings of that suit make a bit of difference after inflation. That is a BASE thing.
  5. Actually, I am pretty sure you can register with a recognized native american indian nation if you are at least 1/64th blood. I am 1/8th Cherokee on my mother's side (my great grandmother was a full-blooded squaw), but have never considered doing so even though the economic and education benefits are phenomenal for people who do. I, selfishly, think that those benefits should be retained for natives of pure blood. I find it incredibly cheesy that very-diluted/diversified individuals beg for money from such sources. I find it ridiculous that people five generations removed from any semblance of native american culture think they have any claim. The government does not owe me a penny, in my opinion, just because my great grandmother was a squaw. People need to make their own way in life.
  6. I like Monster House, but DUDE, did they fuck that biker family's house up last night! I mean these people had a really nice house and they did a super cheesy job. It looks like a "factory authorized" (pun intended for those in the know) abortion. That said, I have seen some really cool makeovers as well. Some not incredibly liveable, but that's beside the point. I watch a LOT of similar shows and am at times both fascinated and incredulous and how good and bad some of the rooms/houses come out. Anyone remember the Trading Spaces episode where that idiot designer boozehag put moss on the walls of a house? Chuck
  7. In reality, I do a bit of everything. I have never had a "nice" freefly suit though, generally just jumping in my BirdMan Pantz when the FF mood strikes me (not that often). I figured a stylie FF suit would be nice for tracking dives and AFF with lighter people. After seeing some of Nancy's stuff in DeLand, I had to have one of her suits. I am walking out the door in ten minutes to drive to the DZ and fetch it. Pics later. chuckie
  8. A wingsuit is an additional piece of equipment with an additional set of procedures for both regular flight and unusual attitudes. It's for that reason that people without a base level of proficiency in general skydiving don't need to saddle themselves with those additional responsibilities. Same as doing tandems, jumping a board, or any number of other things one could think of. Wingsuits are not difficult to fly under "normal" circumstances. On the contrary, the smaller suits are incredibly simple to fly. It's at opening time and when things go wrong in the air that one's experience kicks in. Chuck
  9. Katie got her suit today. There was a real clusterfuck with the US postal system getting it to us, but it fits her perfectly and looks great. Mine will be here tomorrow; I can't wait.
  10. He would also be able to jump at both Raeford and The Skydiving Place in North Carolina.
  11. with who? Nancy? I am pretty sure her site is www.ouragansuits.com
  12. Don't: -expect to find any room to sit on a couch in the dropzone.com tent because Sunshine will invariably be asleep on it. -think it isn't going to rain at some point. Very, very violent storms are a given. -ever take a dump in the bathroom of my camper at the WFFC. I will kill you. -pitch a tent in an area that is likely to be used as a golf cart expressway at night. Do: -stay hydrated. It gets very, very hot in Rantoul and many hungover people go down. -use all your jump tickets before you leave. Sell or give them away before you depart. -make sure you tent (if you use one) is PROPERLY staked down. -take advantage of all the free organizers. Chuck
  13. OK, this horse is officially beat to death. Next thread please. I like both of you guys (though neither one of you is wired quite right), so please take any further mono-wing arguments to PM as I believe both of you have have firmly stated your case, or what you believe to be your case. Where's the love? Chuck
  14. Dude, the skies looked like it was about to dump on you in that "doug" pic! Did it storm there at all?
  15. sleeping, but I am in the pub.
  16. We drank a lot of stump liquor last year! It was all gone before the first day of jumping!
  17. I don't care if you drink beer in my wingsuit seminar. Just bring enough for me. Chuck
  18. You simply need to add stiffeners to the ends of your wingtips like a lot of us have on GTi's. Wingtips are very easy to re-grab with them. Do a search in this forum and you will find pics of the mod. Chuck
  19. I don't rotate the bag on any of my rigs. My main containers are taller off my back than they are long from top to bottom.
  20. TSO C23-D upgrade tests for the Javelin were done at Raeford out of our CASA 212/100. We do a LOT of TSO stuff for ParaFlite/Irwin also. It's fascinating work. We do most of the initial stuff on a slide ramp out of the side of our vinage Twin Bonanza, 57D. It's great fun diving that sucker down to the deck and releasing the load; very loud and very fast.
