  1. I don't need to post a fucking video. I swooped professionally on the PST tour for five years, but I routinely swap back and forth from my AFF/swoop/work rig with a Xaos 27 80 and my wingsuit rig with a Sabre2 97 with HMA and a full RDS. I can tell you, without hesitation, that my best freestyle canopy is the Sabre2. It's much more controllable for one-handed tricks and it opens good. I land it to a complete stop 90% of the time on rears only. Chuck
  2. He going to be coaching me too! Selwyn Facey is a great friend of mine. Never mind the tunnel; he's also a fantastic skydiver and swooper.
  3. check your line trim and add the new snaps to your slider, bro.
  4. Julio makes GREAT suits. The only problem I have ever seen is in arm length. I would always, always add two inches to the arm length measurment.
  5. Johnny Gayos, a master rigger and MFFI, lives down there and works on post as a contractor for MARSOC. Look him up. If not, then Raeford parachute center has at least 10 riggers that could hook you up.
  6. I was very, VERY sad when I moved away from Zephyrhills. I'd pretty much rather be broke, homeless, and living in a tent on the DZ than be almost any other place in the world. No joke.
  7. I woke up this morning on the new couch. Now THAT'S perfect.
  8. YOU ARE THE NEW TEAM LEADER!!!!!!!!! Fucking LURCH! Excellent.
  9. I made my first wingsuit jump. Children....I made my first one at the Easter Boogie at Louisburg in 1999 back when Jari barely spoke english. He did, on the other hand, get laid A LOT.
  10. No, that happened 8 years ago. I was a moderator on these forums for EIGHT years. I don't care to even logon anymore. What's that say? Too many fucking retards. Azul sends
  11. Amazing stuff going on here lately. I'm dumbfounded. Just read the "incident" report and read Taya's drivel on her blog and just got off the phone with some people trying to decipher what the hell went on in Chicago. What's wrong with you people? By the way, this isn't directed at any one person in particular, but the collective group. The shit that's been going on at board meetings is deplorable, too. I'm ashamed to be associated with people who would stoop to such childlike behavior. You can count me out of any future "charity" events. I'll keep to the business of training people to do this shit safely and you people can continue to give each other reach-arounds. Chuck
  12. Wow. What did I miss? Oh, nothing really. Same drama from the same drama queens. No wonder I don't logon to this forum anymore. Feel free to visit me in AZ if you actually want to jump out of an airplane. Chuck PS: there is no "charity" surcharge to jump with me
  13. I've just established myself fully at Skydive AZ. My new wingsuit teamroom is teamroom 11 in "the horseshoe". Feel free to stop by and drink beer with me. Also, if you are local, bring furniture or other adornments. That is all, Chuck
  14. What we must all understand is that skydiving is an infintesimallly small sport which almost nobody will experience in their life. We, as life-long instructors, must do everything in our power to alleviate these peoples' fears and get them to trust us. It's TREMENDOUSLY rewarding to me. Chuck D-12501, AFF/SL/TM-I, PRO, S&TA
  15. I know of two people still living who have lived through real-life double malfunctions: myself and Eric Butts. Both of ours were with tandem rigs. On mine, I got my reserve mostly inflated at around 1000 feet with the main entangled all through the lines and around my body. Eric had a line-over on his reserve in Hawaii. It is not fun Chuck
  16. New Eloy wingsuit headquarters is teamroom 11 in the horseshoe. If anyone wants to donate a stinky couch or an army cot it would be appreciated. Come one, come all. Chuck
  17. WOW! You got THAT right! I first met Ed at Raeford over 20 years ago. Really nice guy and a great skydiver. I saw him and his SOS four-way team training a year ago. Wow.
  18. Or your instructor is tackling you trying to set your drogue for you at 180 mph..
  19. No, he did not. He grabbed what he thought was the drogue handle and threw it, then completed his system check,. He did not actually spot his drogue (obviously) on "check drogue", but continued with his system checks all the way to drogue release altitude at 5000 feet. That's when the fun began. Chuck
