  1. You look bent pretty far forward in the second pic. Try getting flatter, like laying on a bed with your arms out.
  2. Two words: NORMAN KENT. Norman does a fantastic job flying a huge 10D on his HAND while he flys around you in his S3. If you want the best shot, get in touch with Norman. Perry does a good job too, but he only flies helmet-mounted. Chuck
  3. Shoot him a PM. He goes by "mikeforsythe" now here on dizzy.
  4. I got it fine in Fayettville, NC on RoadRunner.
  5. Yes, it's a repost. Those pics are from Fantasy Fest in Key West, FL. The "retired Hooters" people went by our hotel on Duval street at least 100 times.
  6. It has been positively shitty here most of the week and is not due to let up till after the weekend. Looks like a "drunk front" to me!
  7. Shitty weather puts me in the glummest of moods.
  8. We have XM in all of our vehicles now that I got a Roady 2 for the bike and the Dually. We have had it in Katie's Jimmy for over a year and a half. My favorite channels are 44 (Fred), 47 (ethyl), 54 (Lucy), and 80-82 (the techno channels). XMU (43) is a good college channel and I listen to it some also. Chuck
  9. I like the light-faced one and I think it would show up better in freefall.
  10. Definitely looks like a good mod, Ray. Chuck
  11. The Nitro opens and flies Cobalt/Crossfire. That is a good thing. The ones I test jumped were very well mannered and flew nice. I got longer swoops out of the modded-Cobalts I was jumping at the time, but if you wanted a longer swooping HiPer canopy then you would get the Blade. Chuck
  12. Nathan is totally fucking with you.
  13. We (Special Forces, at least the 7th SFG, the 3rd SFG, and USAJFKSWC) never used dual pin XX's. I was there when the first one was fielded and the last one was replaced by MC-4's (also 1-pin). There was only one detachment (a 7th group team) that even experimented with SL with squares (MC-5 program) on Fort Bragg (or in USASFC at all). I have seen plenty of two-pin HALO rigs, but only on the backs of Navy, Marine, and AF guys. Chuck
  14. Why are you sweating the particulars, Matt? As to the zoom "in" or "out", I believe that I am zooming "out" from the .3 I started with to the .45 I probably get before I lose focus and the camera fuzzes out. Maybe I am completely wrong, but that's just semantics anyway. You know what? Come to think of it I probably am zooming in. Whatever. What I know is that I fill more of the frame with the subject (from the same distance) if I am set at my pre-fuzzy max of around .45. You would not want to shoot tandem video at .3 unless you were docked on the pair. Ten feet away at .3 looks pretty far away. Chuck
  15. I don't know a single south african who cannot speak fluent english.
  16. I thought they were one and the same! In fact I am sure Audie Murphy starred as himself in the movie. You are correct, Jim.
  17. Tell that monkey to do a trick! TWO tricks!
  18. All of the MT1-XX's used by the Army (at least Army Special Forces) were one-pin main. The Navy and Airforce had some two-pin rigs, but the AF CCT guys on Pope used one-pin XX's just like ours. Chuck
  19. To be fair, I guess I could recommend that you also contact all the other reputable "real" dealers out there (TSO-D, Sunshine Factory, Gravity Gear, and Storie Parachtue Works, and Ralph among them).
  20. When I was teaching a bunch of AFF FJC's a couple of years ago, they averaged about seven hours. I got through them in as little as five hours if there was just one student who "really got it" and didn't ask many questions. This is a stark contrast to the years I spent teaching at the Green Beret Parachute Club back in the day. We ran a five-evening FJC that covered everything under the moon and culminated with the student being signed off to pack his/her own rig. Every student made each and every jump under their own packjob. With the high volume of students we used to deal with there was simply no time for us to do it any other way. Chuck
  21. Call SkyCAT at (910) 875-7231. Joey normally has at least one used CYPRES in stock.
