Are you trying to tell me that there is no proof that the nazis commited horrific experiments on any number of the people, not just the Jews, that were under their submission? If so, you truly have a set of blinders on. Actually the Nazis were trying to support an ideology....kind of like religous people. Who was it earlier in this thread that argued people "only answer the bits that make them seem they are winning the arguement" then didnt answer any of my question in an earlier post. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. Anyone see the TopGear programme which was on Sunday (UK). They raced a Porsche Cayenne vs a Red Devil. The Red Devil was wearing a wingsuit and had to cover 2.5 miles with the Porsche covering 2.5 miles of off roading. Was quite a nice stunt to pull off. Gotta love the BBC. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.

That's awesome! Thats also wrong. There are no ' as "cunt's and dick's" are being used in possessive sense. Cheers Spellin' Police ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.

A better idea would be to do what they did in the dambusters. Make a small box and contain in there 2 x really powerful lights + batteries. Angle them so that they meet on the ground when you are the proper flaring height above the ground. When the beams cross...flare. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. That is absolutely correct. It is a compilation of accounts over a period of about 2,000yr. I would challenge you to read the beginning of the Book of Acts, and tell me that it wasn't written in the first person by the apostle Paul. Do you also regard all other compilations of the history of antiquity as bogus? I'm sure that they have all been reinterrpruted from their original language. As for people trying to rewrite history, we see it in this country amongst the liberals who just don't like the way things turn out. Everything from Columbus to the war in Iraq. It wasnt written by the apostle Paul. Just becuase it is written in the front of a book doesnt make it true. I need more evidence than a single source to believe something. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.

Then how can we trust those hypothesising about stuff that happened 2000 years ago? I'd trust the scientists more as thier work is publish and they allow other people to comment and correct them. They are working on physical laws which are repeatable. The bible is written on a bunch of accounts. It was common practice in the middle ages to rewrite history to suit the person who was in charge discrediting the old holder of the post, how can you tell me that the bible hasnt been subject to that. Its also amazing how much energy is put into trying to argue for believing a book that was written 2000 years ago. Or its just because my Arabic sucks. Now I'm not against people teaching evolution theory (not against teaching religion as a whole). What I do object is them teaching it as fact in science lessons. Its not fact. It cannot be replicated or proved. Darwins theory can be observed. Changes in environment lead to changes in animal population. This is why I believe science over religion. Scientists put "theories" on the table. They are ready and waiting to be proved wrong by the wider scientific crowd and they have to prove how they got to thier conclusions. Religous people tell you what happened. For example a scientist would have said "we believe that there is a possibilty Jesus existed etc..." where as a religous person would say "jesus existed..." Oh, really and we should believe you why? Answer me these questions.. 1) why are you religious? Was it becuase parents made you or did you find it of your own free will. 2) What proves to you god exists and lets you believe your faith. (I wouldnt use the bible as proof god exists becuase I'll use google as proof he doesnt ) 3) Do you think thier is a possibility you may be wrong? I know there is a possiblty that god "may" exist however I have never heard a religious person say they may be wrong. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. Hmm. I'm an agnostic...I believe in science. It you can't prove it then I'm not interested. To be fair I hate (yes, strong word but true) church people who say "you cant prove it via science so it must be gods work". Tosh. The bible was "invented" when people still thought the world was flat and thought an eclipse was someone eating the sun. We proved those to be wrong. All the other stuff that is currently under "its not scientific proof so its gods work" it just stuff we havent been able to prove where it came from...but we will. Personally I think 99% of all the worlds problems are caused by religion Christans as well as Islamic extremists. I'd have thought being a skydiver you'd have more faith in yourself than God. If you really thought God existed why are you using parachutes? Surely he would save you? ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. Just get a car that does crazy gas mileage. Runnnig your car on chip fat is a good way. A while back in Wales there was a shortage of cooking oil a the local ASDA (supermarket owned by WALMART) as they were selling 25L of oil for less than 25L of diesel. People were just filling up in the car park. Crazy. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.

no? http://www.bbc.co.uk/crime/caseclosed/hungerford.shtml so, the pro-gun people will keep brushing aside these cases just as long as they can keep their guns.... guns available to lunatics are a price we have to pay just so selfish people who wants guns can have their guns. how about dangerous dogs? should they also be allowed back simply because the majority of them don't attack? Do the ones attacked by dogs just have to put up with it because the majority of dog owners are responsible? to me, most gun owners have a gun as a penis substitute. Damn I've been sussed...time to get the sweedish cock pump out Guns are not availible to lunatics....have YOU ever been to a rifle gallery? Have you ever seen the regulations that are in place? Why should I live with the risk of someone falling on me from the sky just so selfish people can go skydiving? Of wait that a very unlikley occurance. I bet £10 that more people have been killed in the lat 5 years by small planes falling from the sky than legally held rifles. SO lets ban all the small planes.... ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.

Must admit that made me chuckle. Makes it sounds like people have been using high calibre rifles to take out people with good reasons for doing so ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.

The A2 version isnt really that bad..well I hope its not that bad as I've been told that over the next year I have to volunteer to go to Iraq or Afgan or I will be sent. I think I'll volunteer as at least I have a choice of what role I could go for. The UK firearms law is so hypocritical it is untrue. I can legally own on of these http://godgunsglory.com/images/front_rifles.jpg But I can't own a pistol used in an olympic sport? For reference here is what a olympic pistol looks like: http://www.targetshooting.ca/graphics/equip-guns/hammerli/fp10_gr.jpg ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. A variation of the topic... Pop high and give the rest of the people you are jumping with time to get down to the ground. Set up a line of people friends and family included.....as you come in the landing swoop past the line. Catch being that all people in the line have pies. Let the flinging begin. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you. It might actually be unanimous but voice three only speaks Welsh.

oooo..... we're onto my specialist subject. I'm moving into Skydiving from target rifle shooting mainly due to the bullshit regulations that are imposed on us by the government / police make it too hard to do anything. I'm not saying the regulations are a bad thing. They are not but they are imposed by people who have no idea what they are talking about. I personally dont think that handguns over .22 calibre should be allowed in the UK. They are not used in any "sporting" environment (i.e. olympics) and are quite frankly dangerous. That said there is a lot of need for .22 handguns. The UK is the only country in the world (including all these dictatorships) that has made an Olympic sport illegal. The year of Dunblane there was 279 offences where a handgun was used as a threatening object (i.e. pointed and/or fired). The year after there was 314 of the same kind. But wait....all the legally held firearms were being cut up by the police! Blimey...I'd not have guessed that 99% of the firearms used in UK crime are unregistered and not legally held. There was an amendment like this already that the lords wanted. Pistols would have to be stored at Bisley (National Shooting Center) and only used there. The Lords (like a higher version of Congress or Senate) threw this out. Today Thomas Hamilton would not pass the requirements to become a member of a shooting club. We have to contact the police about every new member even before they are allowed to see/touch a rifle. In 2005 the UK knife deaths were at about 236 a year 100% of those knives were legally owned. There were 77 gun deaths 0% of which were legally owned. The govt can screw me to the floor with all the regulations they want. I'm a member of the Terratorial Army, every weekend they give me an SA80. I can legally buy .223 (5.56mm) ammunition on my firewarms certificate. If I'm going to go postal I'm not going to use my .22 target rifle (single shot - bolt action - no magazine) I'm going to use the fully auto, 30 round mag SA80. Yet they make it harder for me to get a FAC to cover the ownership of the .22 rifle than it is to become a member of the TA. ------ Two of the three voices in my head agree with you.
