  1. No that was pretty stupid and wasteful too. Nice topic change. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  2. Crack kills! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  3. Bill, Is the Keystone pipeline a public project or a private one? What is the dollar amount of public funding if any? Just trying to get a handle on your comment above that it is a pork project. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  4. When I read the thread title I thought it said "Condom Broke"... my misread is sort of ironic. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  5. I thought the Keystone XL pipeline project was waiting for approval not funding. I could be wrong because I haven't looked into it with much detail. Isn't a private company going to be building this? "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

    Jello Shots

Take care with them... I don't want to hear that some one burnt there house down, or drank to much and got hurt. They burn for a while, you can't simply blow them out. And it is easy to have way to many while you are waiting for them to melt in your tummy. Then it hits you like a pallet of bricks and it is toooooooo late! Jello Shots

Basically, you presoak the jello and extra gelatin in cold water so it hydrates and starts to solidify. Then you melt it back down with a hot water bath. To this out add your ever clear. The extra gelatin and the hydration is what keeps it from being a melted mess. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  8. There is two ways to increase revenue, increase the tax rate, or increase the tax base. If we would have tackled this economy right from the get go our base would be bigger and we wouldn't be over here trying to imitate Japan's lost decade. There is only one way to cut spending. The payroll tax holiday is a lose lose for both parties. They never should have dicked with the social security funding mechanism in the first place. People are now going to expect this payroll tax decrease. It can't be permanent without further endangering social security. When ever it gets rolled back everyone is going to paint the other side in a bad light instead of being honest, we just can't afford it! Personally I think the first stimulus should have been way bigger and it should have been purely real heavy duty infrastructure investments. High speed rail. Overhaul the highway system. Build some long lasting assets. Instead they squandered the money that they did spend on useless shit. I would have been for more money if it was investment, no investment here! Jello Shots

I make mine with everclear. Sometimes I make them with everclear and do a trick to allow for even more everclear without melting the jello, at that point they are flammable! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  10. If it is for the future put the purchase on the back burner until 75 jumps or so. They aren't banning audibles any time soon, so it does you no real good to buy it now and stick it in your gear bag, they will be available for sale in the future. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  11. Says who, it is relevant to the discussion of redistributing wealth, which is what all you communists are proposing. As far as the rest of you post all I can say is huh??? Care to generalize even more? Throwing money over the fence??! Is that where your down payment for your underwater blunder went? "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  12. It had nothing to do with discrimination, it was the opposite. The government pushed affirmative action for home loans. The crappier the borrower the better. It was social engineering through lowering of business standards. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  13. I wonder if you can opt out of a physical pat down and opt in for a hands off strip search. That would really fuck with em! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  14. John, I called the new stations to give them advance notice of this ground shaking development!!! Don't be suprised when they show up for some footage! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  15. I wish DZ's would cut it out. We are cutting each other off at the knees. It doesn't do the industry any good. It is skyride all over again, with DZ's in a similar area fucking each other in a race to then get fucked. Good job guys, bravo! Way to give groupon a huge cut of business that would have mostly gone to you in the first place. Way to push the market price down, and way to fuck your fellow DZ's. 16. This summer I had a friends tandem student take his goggles off his upper connection and leave them back on the ground. We didn't catch it before we left terra firma. I have contacts but elected to give the student my goggles and do a hop and pop. The pilot didn't exactly keep up the altitude on the way back over the top, 2400, 2300, 2200, 2100, 2000, 1900.... UMMMM DOOOR???!!? I have been out pretty darn low before then, but that was pre fully eliptical smaller canopies! It was hair raising! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  17. Nothing warrior about my post, just pointing out that, feeling that you need to keep things like this from your partner might indicate bigger issues. Squeek, you dregged up a post from october 2007??? "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  18. X3 X3 X3 Those who scream the most, have the least to say! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  19. What that chick did was douchey. The flip side to that question is: Is it right for a man to expect a woman to put out just because he paid for dinner? No that isn't right. The man should expect that he is going to meet some one that is also interested in dating, and possibly a longer term relationship. He shouldn't expect sex, there are escorts and adult hookup websites for that. The dating sites are for dating. I doubt he expects to meet some one who is only meeting him to get dinner. I think if he knew that motive up front he would decline the date. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  20. It will only get big if they have low default rates. In order to have low default rates they will have to act just like the banks in evaluating borrowers. P2P lending could have an edge over the banks if the lender and the borrower have direct contact. In most circumstances you are more commited to your debts when they come from a personal source instead of a faceless institution. When you have a pool of P2P lenders you loose that personal connection. Past results have shown that people have much less qualms about screwing a big pool of lenders. That means you need large investors who are willing to make large contributions. If you don't have that you lack the capacity to make loans of any meaningful size like a mortgage, or a business loan for a large capital investment. And if I was the type of individual with a large pool of cash I would be much less likely to jump into the game after being vilified for the past year by the occupy clowns. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  21. [homer]Fat Tony you gave me a favor only with the expectation of receiving a favor in return. Shame on you. Good day Sir. [/homer] The more likely outcome is the investors get hosed and they won't participate in future lending going forward. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  22. http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg21228421.300-bank-says-no-ditch-the-bank--borrow-from-the-crowd.html P2P lending and micro lending have some great characteristics. I think they are great for improving conditions in poor countries. That being said the premise of your post, and the structure of the op ed piece you posted are whack! They could have made it a positive story about p2p lending, instead of a slam piece about banking. First the story about that women is bullshit. It makes no sense. 1. The down payment is non refundable? That is almost unheard of in real estate. More likely the deposit is non refundable. That is common in most real estate transactions. When you make an offer it takes a property off the market until you close, and the seller should get the deposit if you can't do so to compensate them for other possible sales that they missed out on. My assumption is that she was trying to use a subprime mortgage product, you know the type that led to our current mess required almost no money down, and she is bemoaning the loss of her small deposit. If such a contract really did exist then I want to know how she tricked some one into giving her a six figure salary, because she is an idiot!!! 2. She had 6 figure income, but then the downturn caused her not to qualify. Also bullshit. More likely she over extended herself in the boom, took on way to much debt, and she shouldn't get a mortgage because she is a credit risk. People with six figure incomes do not become credit risks over night unless they were playing it loose and fast with their money. Tough shit. People who had solid income and good credit history did not have trouble getting mortgages in that time frame. Sure they had to give way more documentation, and it took some work, but they got mortgages, and at great rates. 3. She didn't get qualified for a mortgage through p2p lending. They were nice enough to get her a consolidation loan to start rebuilding, but it is misleading to give the sob story about some one not getting a mortgage, who shouldn't get a mortgage, when p2p lending wouldn't give her a mortgage either. Ohhhhhhhh those evil social lenders. So let get on to the commentary on p2p lending. I love the misleading chart where they compared the trillions of bank lending on the same scale as the p2p lending. Second I don't know why you chose not to quote the parts of the article where they mention that p2p lenders are also restrictive on who they lend to. The idea of p2p lending is not credit for all, investors need to get paid back for it to work. Lets pull in some of the notable quotes you neglected to include: How about the performance of prosper, a p2p start up: P2P lenders screen borrowers, how very bankly of them: "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
  23. There are plenty of things that need work in this country, no argument from me. If there was a logical plan for pushing this country towards greater equality, and greater productivity I would be all for it. Greater productivity and equality is a win win for all. In my opinion all proposals on the table are about bringing down the 1%, and growing the size of government. Any benefit to the 99% is indirect at best. The history of our countries past social engineering over the last few decades in this country doesn't really support our governments ability to elevate the prosperity of the lower educated and lower earning individuals. Why do we spend so much on education with such poor results compared to other countries. Why do we have families that have been on welfare for multi generations. I would say the federal government has been doing just as much screwing of the 99% as the 1% has. Further, I also think that the baby boomer generation has done a good job screwing all of the future generations in this country. 24. Why is it funny? They offer no solution, and they go against what I think are solid america ideals. The majority of the protestors are idiots, with no actual thoughts behind them. They make for great sound bites but they are a hollow bunch when you actually try to ask them about their position. They aren't for fixing this country, they are all about tearing it down. They are vilifying a group of people because it is easy to do so, but it doesn't fix a single thing. And finally I still believe we have a system in this country where you can better yourself through hard work and smart choices. My father grew up in a poor neighborhood in NYC. His father was a gambler and worked three jobs to keep his knees intack. My father started in the mail room on wallstreet and worked his way up to upper management. He has worked a hard honest day every day of his life. He had plenty of mobility in his life. No one gave him anything in his life, he worked for it. Vigil

I know of one that occured on unit in a Sigma tandem, that was properly set to tandem. The TI was on final and pop, out comes the RPC. This is a tandem instructor who allways pulls high, so it was not a case of a low pull and a hesitation on the RPC launch. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
