I kept trying to 'predict my death' until I found a death I liked: At 85 you die from lethal wounds inflicted by the blades of a blender while trying to make your sixteenth margarita of the day. Noice! Just this past saturday a patient at the clinic I work at was telling me how much he loves his Civic hybrid! He's had his for a year I think, and he loves it. He says he gets about 35mpg.city, and it has plenty of power to pass/merge on the highway. I think a lot of people, like me, had only seen the one type of Scion which is a totally square box on wheels - iffin' I knew how to do a clicky, I'd post one up. I had never seen one like Apollard's - her's is cute, and I like the color too! Ditto for me (everthing she said)...and Amazon would definitely be on my list as well. She was the first person on dizzle to PM' me and encourage me to jump in (no pun) and join the gang. Experiences from Childhood leading up to Skydiving

Nothing dramatic for me, but there was a small airport a few miles from my house that had a small skydiving operation going on back in the early 70's. Whenever we were going by and saw the parachutes coming down, we'd pull the car over and watch for a while. I always thought it looked cool, and everytime I saw something on t.v. about it I always watched and thought that one day I'd like to try it. It was just one of those things in life that I always wanted to do, but didn't have a clue of where to start until a coworker came in one Monday talking about her great weekend skydiving...and that was it! Sorry, don't have first-hand experience either. Like a couple other people mentioned, I thought all Scions were boxy-ugly, like bad Fred Flintstone cars. But I looked this one up on the Edmond's site and this TC was a nice surprise, and apparently they put some power in it - that's one thing I have to have, especially in a small car. I have to be able to get out of the way of semi's. Plus, it does have the Toyota name behind it for quality. Good luck with it...hope you enjoy it. Oh, I'm sorry to hear this...my kitty is approx. 17-18yrs. old and she's having some problems the vets and I can't seem to get ahead of, and it's very distressing...so when I saw this post I immediately could relate to the frustration and sadness. He has the sweetest face...get well Bob!
