I believe that you implied that the organization or leadership of the UN shouldn't be held responsible for the rogue behavior of a number of field troops. Who should they answer to? The problem is that the UN is answerable to noone. Many people in the organization are corrupt in their own right, and simply wink at criminal behavior. Sort of like the Mafia policing itself to be upright citizens. The oil for food program looked like a purely humanitarian program on its face, but you can bet that for every country involved in the scandal, the gears were turning from minute one, on how they could turn it to their advantage financially. Now, my problem with liberals and the UN. It seems that many embrace, and find glee in the idea of any organization that can screw with the Good Old USA. I do not understand this mentality. Why would anyone want a group of people who despise us as a nation, and they do, hold sway over our ability to rule ourselves?

Here in Royd World that's exactly how it works, and the govt. pays the price for trying to punish my productivity. Since I belong to the group that someone has determined doesn't need a lot of money, and therefore, they'll take my excess, I choose, since I have little, to no debt, to quit producing, once my tax percentage makes a big jump. Let's use simple numbers for the description. Say, up to $30,000 the govt. decides to take 10%. Fine, I can live with that. For the next $10,000 they decide to take 20%, and above that, 30%. Since I am fiscally responsible, I have to ability to live on very little. Let's say that I can make the first $30,000 in six months. If the govt. left the tax rate at 10% across the board, I would choose to work throughout the year, thus giving them $6,000, but since they decide to punish my productivity, I also have a few cards of my own. They aren't going to get a dime over the first $3,000. If I were running a large business, I too, would move my excess money somewhere where it could work for me without punishment. If the govt. would lift those heavy taxes on the big money, much of it would be brought back and put into banks here in the states, and be used in the economy. Now, you make the call. Would you rather be getting a nominal tax off of my millions, and have it working in the economy, or would you rather just be collecting taxes from my bookkeeper and my housekeeper?

obviously as im in ireland you are more up on this subject then me but i heard a commentator say that the clintons were gonna do their best to lose south carolina and make a big deal of it being the black vote that is going to make them lose. their plan being that the dems will rally around in the next states and vote for clinton as they dont want obama to get threw simply on the black vote dont know what you americans think about that but it sounds interesting to me It has been SOP for the Democratic party to keep groups of people down who they pander to for votes. As long as we've been fighting this 'War on Poverty', some 50 yrs., it's the same old procedure. Throw money at it. It's time to give the people some hope and actually empower them to use their abilities to do something besides walk to the mailbox for a check. I think that Obama may do that. I don't sense that he's is filled with the racial anger that so many 'African Americans' are. I also observe that he has a measured calmness, unlike Hillary, who is an angry, socialist, feminist, who's ideas for a utopian society are being proven wrong everyday. I would rather have a calm, multiracial man than an angry white woman in the office. But, I'm voting Republican, so what do I know?
