  1. That tatooist needs a dick and nutsack tatooed on his forehead. Actually across his nose and cheeks cuz the forehead can be covered with a hat. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  2. So So sorry to hear that. My condolences. Sounds like she had a long run and seen alot of changes in her lifetime. I can't even fathom being 99 yrs old. I'll bet she had some incredible stories. Again I'm so sorry to hear this. My one remaining grandmother is 96. I think I'll give her a call. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  3. Take it to your local parts store and they will generally test both for free. They can be tested in the vehicle so long as the vehicle is running when you get it there. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  4. Sometimes rebuilds are cost effective, sometimes not. The problem is that when they rebuild, they do not rebuild the entire unit. They just replace the part that went bad, clean it up and Bobs your uncle. You put the rebuild in and a week later another component in it goes bad. Generally there is still a warrenty on a rebuild. 5. Sure sorry to hear about this. That is a whole lot of money, but look at those eyes. She will be a faithful campanion and friend. She needs you. I seen a picture online this morn. of a 6 mo old Border Collie at our local humane society. Loves to chase balls and good w/ other animals. The eyes got me there too but I'm afraid It's still to early to replace Our Jazz just yet. If we went to see her in person it would probably be a givin that we would adopt her. Thank goodness our humane society has a no kill policy. She will eventually be placed. But you just never Know. We might have to go see her. Good luck with everything. It will all work out. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  6. How and where do I go about purchasing and fitting a Javelin J4 with the new reserve "cable"? One more question. How do you feed a slack line through the housing? It almost seems it would be like pushing string. Or is it stiffer than it appears in the video? Thanks. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  7. Thanks for posting those videos. Very informative. They gave me the visual on what Bill explained. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  8. While reading the new Parachutist last night there is an article on the proper length of the excess cable on the reserve handle. To short and a hard arch or varied body positions could dislodge the handle. To long is not good either. Nowhere in the article was it mentioned on the proper position for the excess cable which brings me to my question. Last summer while getting a gear check from a considerably more experienced jumper, he loosened the velcro holding my reserve handle in and tucked the excess cable in and pinched the velcro closed to hold it in place. We are talking aprox. 2" of cable. After several jumps and a few months, while getting another gear check from a jumper closer to my numbers, he pulled the excess out and said that it would make for a harder pull on my reserve. What would be the proper configuration? More often than not I see the cable free and not tucked in. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  9. I'm so sorry to hear this. My feelings and thoughts are with you. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  10. I love to fly and would love at some point in my life get my private pilots license. Have a good friend who is an incredible instructor, so he has already offered. What I am afraid of is landing. I've been through a few white knuckle rides and it scares the shit out of me. But like they say. Any landing you walk away from is a good landing. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  11. I watched on one of the morning news shows this morn. about a lady that is throwing Taser parties like they were tupperware. Now every Joe Blow can start tasering everybody that offends them somehow. Tasering-- Not just for Policemen anymore. Hell they even come in pink. Gotta be fashion aware and color coordinated. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  12. Iwant your job. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  13. Thanks again to all out there who have posted their condolences. I really thought we would be bringing Jazz back home last night but under the circumstances it would have been prolonging her pain. The vet told us that since her throat was closing up that she also stood a good chance of choking to death and that was something that neither my wife or I could bear to see. I sure wish I had known that she wouldn't be coming home. It was 15 below 0 outside the night before but we would have went on one more walk. She had balls stashed for a half a mile in all directions that she would find on our walks. Our other dog Yukon has been wandering around looking for her and it breaks my heart to see. We are lucky to still have him and our 3 cats. Yukon is 14 now and we are not sure how much longer he will be with us but we will cherish the time we have left with him. We are not sure if we are ready yet to go get another dog but we will eventually. We will definatly have to pick out a pup that has all the energy that Jazz had and also one that loves to chase the ball. One memory of Jazz was when I pulled a sticker of some sort off of a product and stuck it on her forehead. She ran around for a full day oblivious to the sticker cuz all she could think of was her ball. Got a picture of that. What a goofball she was. If we were out in the woods without a ball she would bring you a tree to throw. Once we were out and she found a 2 foot square sheet of styrofoam. I would throw it like a frisbee and it would bank and curve and float down haphazardly with Jazz chasing it to and fro. It was hilarious to watch. There are lots of good memories and lots of pictures. Thanks again to everyone. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  14. Tastes like chicken. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  15. Thanks to you and everybody who has posted a reply on this. Jazz was a wonderful dog. Always there with a slobbered up tennis ball when I needed to throw my arm out. We finally started using a racket. Thanks again to everybody. It helps. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  16. Thanks for the poem. That same one was on the wall at the clinic and we read it when we left. It will be good to see her again with her favorite Jazz slobbered tennis ball in her mouth again. She was a loyal and faithful companion. Dogs really are mans best friend. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  17. Not inappropriale at all. As a matter of fact thats a great idea. We will have her ashes back in about 10 days and I wasn't quite sure what to do. I jump into my backyard on occasion and that would be a great reason to do another one. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  18. My wife and I just returned from our vetrinarian. We just had to have one of out two best friends put to sleep. My wife had had Jasmine for 11 yrs and I've been in the picture for 7. Jazz lived for chasing the ball. It was her lifes work. To make a long story short she had bone cancer in her jaw that we've been dealing with for several months. The balls she played with steadily got smaller as she couldn't open her mouth very far. In the last week she could only eat small food and would swallow it whole. Tara took her to the vet yesterday and they wanted us to bring her back today so they could do X-rays to see if anything could be done. Nothing could. So with us by her side the vet did the last thing he could to take her pain away. Jazz sat on the couch with me for the last time this morning as I scratched her ears and petted her. I thought she would be coming back home tonight. I just had to write something about her. We will miss her incredibly. No longer will she meet me coming down the drive way when I get home from work. I looked forward to that every night. RIP Jazz. There is no more pain. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  19. Good one. My wife will get a kick out of that too. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  20. These roses were smaller than normal. My wife is a grower in a greenhouse so our property is bascally an extension of that. She grows more flowers and plants than you can shake a stick at. Her lilies last summer were taller than she is. 5'5". I skydive for stress relief and she grows things. She couldn't kill a plant if she tried. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  21. Thanks for the link. It appears that my question has been aswered. I generally don't kill the spiders unless they are widows, recluse, boxers or hobos. But these guys were killing the honey bees. To bad they don't kill the killer bees. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  22. Thanks. Where are they native to? We have all kinds of spiders every year but have never seen these before. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  23. If you're a honey bee. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  24. Last summer my wife and I found two of these spiders in her roses and her lilies. This was on two seperate occasions but only about a week apart. There were no webs and these little guys would lie in wait just as you see and wait for a honey bee to land in the flower and would then attack the bee and sink their fangs into the bees head. We killed both of them which we probably shouldn't have done. We should've kept one. Anyway we never seen another. Maybe this summer. We have looked in several insect and spider books but have not been able to find it. We are in Montana and so far nobody that we have shown thes pics to can identify it. Thry were very small. Only about half the size of my thumbnail, if that. Can anybody out there identify it? Thanks I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
  25. Nope, my wife doesn't need them and even if she thought she did, nope. I dated a woman with HUGE breasts for awhile and used to wake up with a back ache every morning from arching so hard all night when she was spooning me. No offense to the big breasted women out there, or the men who like em big. Just not for me. Show me a nice set of legs and a nice ass. As for implants, well it all seems pretty vain to me. Debra Messing could maybe use a little more up top, but even so she is still a very sexy woman in my book. I also think your friend should rethink her new relationship if that is all her new boyfriend is worrying about. Just my opinion and opnions are like assholes. Everybody has one. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
