Luke 22:36 Sometimes, all a criminal understands is strength. But enough about cops and Republicans..... And where's most of the crime happening? Oh yeah...where the Dems live... imagine that. Got that "I don't have a gun - please don't hurt me" sign up on your lawn, yet? All the crime? 100%? Brilliant. Show where most of the crime is occurring in blue states. Apparently you're drawing an argument for deterrence, which is ridiculous from the start. People bent on killing don't care about consequence, don't ya think? Where dd a gun argument come in here? More brilliance.

>>>>>>>>>>>What do you expect from a country that had black and white bathrooms and fountains seperate. As well, blacks couldn't go into Vegas casinos on Freemont and the strip until the mid 50's.

>>>>>>>>>>>>Okay, this is the speakers corner, so I'll speak my mind. Each year, hundreds of people are suffering, dying in need of an organ transplant. While I agree it is wrong to capitalize off the execution of another human being, if we make the method such that no internal organs are destroyed then we can give the condemned an option to do one last bit of good before their time is up. Awesome point. That establishes what a Nazi-garbage POS this country is; we're willing to execute w/o regard for silly things like absolute guilt, yet we have no system in place for organ donations from the condemned. Truth is, if we did then thse condemned would become martyrs, heros, etc. However, when sloppy drunk Mantle needs an organ, no problem, 15 mins later he's at the top of the list. When Mourning needs a kidney, move to teh front, sir. The elite get what they want and they have the trailer garbage buying into it. I understand that McVey wanted to donate his organs. If true, he did so to show what a POS the country was, as he knew they wouldn't go for it. He's was a real piece of trash, but he was right. Funny how when he says, "collateral damage" it's worse than when the US military says it. >>>>>>>>>>Perhaps China is onto something when the just put one bullet in the back of the head.... Perhaps most of Europe is onto something when they abolished the DP for fear of error.

I don't think that's Amazon's religion...more Lucky's. Right, and yours is your personal little auschwitz, one at a time with exclusive medical coverage. BTW, I've been working 50-65 hr weeks for months now, out in the cold. But don'tlet that stop your shithouse assumptions.

I hope eveyone understands my "eye for an eye" parody so let's not bring The Jesus into it. It was written even in Hamurabic Code (older that BASIC OR Pascal) with the intent of limiting retribution. I don't put much faith in the bible to convey God's intent. It was written by man. Eye for an eye is most prolifically known from the bible, so that is a fair attribution.

One of my now-retired colleagues was a 1st Lt. assigned US Army prison duty in Germany after the surrender in 1945. One of his duties was to supervise hangings of GI's found guilty of murder (apparently there were quite a few). He said he found it very traumatic and distressing. I suspect it would have been far far worse if a few heads were pulled off in the process. He became a firm opponent of the death penalty. Hanging of US GI's, or Nazi war criminals?
-
What is justice? I thought the death penalty was about the final result and not how much they make one suffer before they get there. NO, the DP is about retribution. Also, as a bonus, it is good for ensuring innocent people never see freedom.

Politicians are fair game. I'm referring to your constant attack on your fellow posters here who do not hold the same ideology as you. I'm also referring to the constant attack on our faith that is important to us. Call out the hypocrites, just don't lump me in with them. I do my best not to be a hypocrite. I just know very few thumpers who able to keep their faith to themselves, that is the rub.
-
Altho there is some truth to that, currently the R's are really bad at getting away withit, or they actually are worse. Furthermore, if you don't clammer abiout the destruction of teh country via homosexuality, then you have more lattitude.

Why don't you do some true research into folks who truly practise their faith before you run off a naive diatribe. Whatever your personal reasons are don't matter to the outcome of the putting garbage like Reagan and Bush into the whitehouse so they can put justices in place that fuck things up, and sign bills that hurt many, veto others that could have helped people like the recent children's health bill. That isn't Bush's fault, it's the fault of geniuses who vote Bush and the sort in. On another note, the GOP fiscals are dumping all over the moralists like you. They have all those sexual deviants in there and refuse to oust them, perhaps rethink your moral vote if for nothing else than the fact that they are ignoring you.

Funny how the church loves right values, the ones that put some people on the bubble into poverty, then they have soup lines for these people. Kind of a sick version of martyrdom, maybe munchhausen's on a larger scale. SICK AS FUCK. If you righties wanna help people, QUIT VOTING IN NAZI GARBAGE LIKE BUSH WHO THRASHES THE MIDDLE CLASS AND THE POOR. As long as we fught our battle for Jesus in the desert then we will be ok, right?

>>>>>>>>The housing market and credit issues are simply caused by non-payment. The theory is that people will get jobs that will pay them enough to become solvent again. It's bigger than that. It started with idiot cutting taxes, giving that 300/600 bucks away, causing the fed to drop interest rates to 40+ year lows and leave them there. That led to house prices doubling. The housing market has played out like a pyramid scheme, the first to play win big, the last loose their ass. As Bush said, a president's legacy won't be written for 50 after his leaving office. That's a bit high, I think intelligent people already have written it, it will become more and more affimed as time goes on. Those who voted for Bush, figure it out. But you won't, you'll get the moral fundies and the fiscal Nazi's together to run it into the shitter even further. When it finally pops, you'll blame the left. Some people are prone to terminal stupidity and can't understand simple data that repeats itself.

>>>>>>>>>>Really? Can you give some examples of this? GDP will FALL if this is true. Great depression, GDP rose after Hoover left and FDR did his, "Chicken in every pot" socialism. When Clinton entered office, inherited a 25B/year deficit, he raised taxs immed under the 1993 Omnibus Spending Bill, rasied them slightly for the middle, greatly for the rich. He also inherited a 7% unemp rate and huge interest rate, left it with ~7% interest and 4% unemp, a positive budget surplus. Facist pig Reagan immed cut taxes, the debt trippled in 8 years, left unemp high and left GHW Bush a mess. Bush's answer, which he figured out too late, was to raise taxes, which he then lost the election for. It's a shame too, becuase he was actually a good president other than coattailing that garbage Reagan. Is that enough for you? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>It definitely didn't happen last time, in fact we came out of a recession fairly quickly considering the other circumstances. I don't think it was quick, as well as we are headed into another one. Considering under your president we will have increased the debt 4 trillion $+, will have doubled house prices, trippled gas prices, had the US Dollar fall below the Canadian dollar when your president inherited a ratio of 1USD = 1.55 CD and rising, I think you need to look at who you call ridiculous. This hammering of the economy led to the need to lower interest rates that we haven't seen for 40 years, the result was having to leave them that low for so long to spur the economy that house sellers compensated the lack of interest payments to increase the principal. Factor in slimy lenders and your president also left us with a mortgage crisis leading to all kinds of disaster including the loss of 1000's of jobs. Yea, I'm ridiculous. Nice vote for Bush, genius. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I'm certainly not a huge fan of our current tax structure but your post almost sounds ridiculous to me. That's because you put corporate profits before people, health, kids, education, jobs, everything. You think healthy corporations equal jobs. Many times corporations feel it is wise to close businesses, lay peoiple off, send jobs overseas. Did you watch pretty woman? Gere was a corporate raider, he would buy corporations in debt that were asset rich, sell the assets, funnel off the $$$ and then BK the corp while all the employees were fucked. It was a movie, but it does happen. Honeywell just advertised the layoff of 240 people to send jobs overseas, they call it a, "business decision." The workers call it financial devistation. Brilliant, yea, corps are here to help us. >>>>>>>>>>>>Beleive it or not, most small businesses in this country are corporations, it's not just Starbucks and Wall Mart. No shit. In most cases they are LLC's (limited liability companies). People incorporate to protect their persoanl assets, in fact, in the 70's it was a trend to try to incorporate your personal life so you could protect certain assets even if you got in a car wreck on the way to work. The courts sniffed that out and killed it. I know guys who own acft and incorp them seperately, in fact, I know of a very large DZ taht does that. I talked to a lawyer who knew of a cab company with 100 cabs and they incorporated each seperately to proect the other 99 if 1 got in a serious wreck. The courts didn't buy it. Many scumbags will incorp their business so they can act illegally and then flash the corporate badge of immunity. You have to then, pierce the veil of the corporation in order to get at their personal assets. So when I write, "corporation" don't mince it to mean a mom and pop operation, that's weak. I think you know I mean major corps, the ones the gov hides behind and bows to. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Almost all employees in the US are working for a corporation of some sort. No shit. Something you probably don't know is that cities, counties, etc are incorporated in a sort. They are insured nd run like a business. When I refer to a corporation I obviously am referring to the bigs, can we get past that? >>>>>>>>>>>>>Your drop zone is probably a corporation too, unless it is a club. They're stupid if they're not. Even clubs are incorporated I'm sure. They have to have a founder, so that person would want to protect themselves.

Weapons. We spend 45% of the entire world's defense budget. Yea but that pays a lot to the few, nothing to most; a great limited industry that does little but drive up taxes and the debt simultaneously.....but you obviously know that, I'm just telling the rest.
-
>>>>>>>>>>>This is a market issue. No president can change this. Well, when you subscribe to supply side economics, you're right. IF you raise taxes on corps, have social programs that assure the poor eat and live, then they will spend that money and keep US corps in business by way of demand. When you give money to corps, either by grant or by tax cuts, they are smart, they hoard it and it stangantes the economy. This is exemplified time an dtime again, yet the geniuses won't accept that.

>>>>>>>>>>>>Grow up America, we all love to fuck Yea, and some sorry garbage loves to fuck whom they wish, then decide for others who they will fuck. .... that's the point.
-
This reads like a lot of convoluted garble, but the point I see you making is the hypocrisy of the Lear Jet liberals, and I agree. As for lumpingall or most libs in that group; ridiculous. However, Republicans, er, uh, Libertarians, er well, Ron Paul is your guy and is a Libertar..., wait, a Republican, anyway, REPUBLICANS like you are the ones who are lcok-stepped. Evidence of that could be found by migling at a Dem convention and then at a Repub convention. You could be pro-gun at a Dem convention, as well as deviate in other ways from the Dem norm, but try being pro-life, pro-taxation, pro-gay rights, anti-Iraq, etc at a Repub convention and be shown the door. Just look at your hero, Bush, and his several arrests at his election rallies for ghost charges with people who politiely wore nti-Bush shirts - see who's lock-stepped. See ya later Repub....er, Libertar...er, well, whatever party you subscreibe to right now.
-
>>>>>>>>>>>>Time for a Republican Morality thread... IT'll be very short, not much in the way of morality to talk about with the R's. Perhaps we should do it in morse code, just taps will do
-
Well, you're forgetting the waffling he did on MTP where, after going back and forth, he finally admitted the door is cracked for him to run as an Indep as soon as the R's run him out. Point is, we will have to suffer 1 more puny little revolution as soon as the R's oust him, if he isn't mathematically ousted yet.
-
You didn't watch Clinton raise taxes on the riich? You didn't watch Clinton cut spending? You didn't watch the 250B/yr deficit get knocked to zero and the debt level off as far as increase? You apparently weren't watching.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>...and even if the cops couldn't immediately identify what your screen name was. It's, um, er...... Billvon. Actually what these guys get arrested for is conspiracy to commit _______________. SOmetimes they just get charged with aiding to the delinquincy of a minor, or attempted the same. Attempted lude conduct with, etc. They are solid charges, as there was intent, regardless of the fact that there was never a 12 year old; the rub lies within the perp, not the victim, potential victim, alleged victim.

>>>>>>>>>>>>Regardless of the general tactics for the other crimes, this just struck me as a special case. This is not drugs, sex with prostitutes, theft, etc. "this" being the park matter? A little unclear. As for special case, they all differ a bit, even the identical ones, and the lawyers hash that out. But as for police misconduct, there is a common thread in most cases in a general way and that is what case law is supposed to universally protect citizens from. >>>>>>>>>>>>>These are law-abiding citizens who are conducting their life as honest people. They are living according to normal expectations. We are all law abiding citizens who break the law, then become not-so law abiders. Do I think the park incident was entrapment the way I would interpret it? Yes. Do I think the law would interpret it that way with the Nazification (Bush word) we've undergone? No. The law adiding rhetoric is meaningless, except upon conviction and sentencing. WHat if you found this guy was a convicted kiddie molester once you've already decided the matter was entrapment? I bet ypu would change your mind. This is the kind of thinking we need to quell, entrapment is entrapment, even if it happens to Charles Manson or Mother Theressa; it's a standard, not a subjective title. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Lawrocket can probably explain where, but there is a sub-text of "reasonable expectation" in the law. That term usually refers to reasonabe expectations of privacy, meaning would a reasonable person expect privacy in the park, at home, in their cars while driving, etc... >>>>>>>>>>>>I don't think that other sting operations are relevant or similar. This is a woman, doing everything to arouse a man, and then getting him arrested for it. You must think I think this case was legitimate in their tactics and should not be deemed entrapment. I don;t see how you get that, but I have the ability to objectively critique my own beliefs and calm bias. I can critique the politicians I viote for, I can critique aspects of my core beliefs, as there is no perfect system, just a best one for the envionment. Most people cheerlead and go down with the ship refusing to admit they were wrong, or things changed. To be objective, even tho she was teasing his cock, he should have known to not pull it out in public. Have I pissed behind a dumpster before? Sure, and it's the same thing. For her to have yanked it out is different for her to have coaxed it out with words, but she did play a role in it. Other side, had she not been there, would he have pulled out his cock? Very doubtful with what I know, and this is why I call this entrapment. Back again, did he play a role? Yes. Most things are not that clear and that's why we have a SCOTUS and other appellate courts. Fortunately we have Nazi's here to keep them packed with conservatives so we get support for BS that is entrapment, but gets justified away. >>>>>>>>>>>>If an attractive topless woman is physically touching a man ... If she's an ugly pig it's different? It sounds as tho you're justifying male sex drive, which would likely be stronger with an attractive woman. Seriously, if you were at the nude beach somewhere and saw a beached whale, you would look away so you could have lunch later, but if she was a Hooter's girl you would put on the sunglasses and find a way to ditch the old lady - me too

What a great loss, but don't worry, the weasel will run as indep as soon a the R's oust him. The joke is that he wasn't man enough to say so on Meet teh press the other day, he left the door open in a sly way. He is truely a joke.
