  1. And I agree with your sarcasm in a literal sense. As I said, to be a cop you must basically be law-following, then you see some dirty opigs doing shit and getting away and you must stand tall.... many don't. Just remember the exclusionary rule; it's in place to deter police misconduct - maybe those justices are smarter than you think you are.
  2. If you back peddle too fast you might fall down. BAM, I win........... Whatever dude. If you can't argue the issue, argue the person. Now back to defending your sister in arms and how whatever you blow away is justified. Do you think anyone here is dumb enough not to know how the depts cover the asses of cops; the courts follow suit?
  3. A person making that assumption and accusation based only on a news report clearly tells a lot about that person. ARe you really that sexist or are you just pretending? Leave it to you, the sheeternal aircraft stuctural expert to drift from signage issues to this. I guess you can't defend the cunt's actions either.
  4. I'm not angry, I just don't like rogue cops. Not saying you're one, and I blame the courts for taking what are usually law-following recruits and immunizing them from crimes / torts they commit and then they turn into dirty pigs so much of the time.
  5. We can all feel better for: HAD. As in, you appear to be retired and no longer a cop. And all the human shootings/killings. All the beatings. All the offier thievery, etc. Yea, I think we all get it; it's all justifiable when a cop does it. so you realize you just called him a crooked cop. you should read http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1155892 more closely. I got called out for pointing out what I believed to be ignorance (meaning lack of knowledge), and that is much more benign than calling someone a crooked cop. So you have no response and try to police the forum? Sad. I didn't call him a crooked cop, I think most/all cops have the propensity to be crooked; the courts facilitate this. No matter how much you revise, you can't create the impression that I called him anything, it was a simple generalization that cops are often crooked, not him personally.
  6. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ so you think that people who like the constitution the way it was written are idiots and people like Odumbo who wants to change our constitution are smart? What kind of logic is that? If you don't like our constitution , move to France or Greece. What proposed changes? The homophobe 28th was the only proposed chnge I've heard of for decades.
  7. Yep, even tho Obama's #'s are down some, the Repubs are down too, so the proportion is the same.
  8. I was refering to the FACT that she is going to be using them a LOT.. I get the fact you can't quite grasp things like that....you seem to have so many of those slow days. Now you know what she is going to do You back peddle funny girl You should be embarrassed that Palin is in your party, instead you celebrate it. the very fact that you think this makes me feel even better about her But, in comparison you have Biden and Obama Those two make her like like a genius!! Not, go along and find something to do and stop bothering the adults Nice, you can't address the stupidity of Palin, now you love her. All the smiley faces in the world won't help your hero remember tough things like her name.
  9. We can all feel better for: HAD. As in, you appear to be retired and no longer a cop. And all the human shootings/killings. All the beatings. All the offier thievery, etc. Yea, I think we all get it; it's all justifiable when a cop does it. Sure, an officer should follow-up, this isn't the issue. Are all cops so stupid they can't put together the concept that there might be a dog on the other side of that sign that reads: BEWARE OF DOG? Or just the stupid cunt in this case?
  10. My bet is that as most cops, she had a massive ego and felt she could go where she wanted, so she did.
  11. Are you sure the officer had their phone number? When 911 dispatches, do they give the phone number directly to the officer? Probably not, the officer can have 911 back-call the party and probably patch them thru or at least the 911 op can act as intermediary.
  12. Right wingers cheerlead all conservative issues....so: YES.
  13. Another non-responsive pile of shit answer.
  14. And, in protecting its territory, if those dogs appeared violent or dangerous with no owner in sight to restrain it, I hope the cops shot it each and every time. Did you even read the article? The dog's owners assert that there was a family member on the porch when the cop shot the dog. These poor folks inadvertently dialed 911 and a cop showed up and shot their dog. Any cop that has judgment that poor has no business walking around with a gun and a badge. The last thing we need are nervous cops with itchy trigger fingers on the street. Aside from the dead dog, the risk to humans was grave.
  15. [sarcasm] yeah and they shold be Chuck Norris tough and just let the dog take a bite or two out of them to see if the dog is really mean or just a poser. [/sarcasm] Or have a brain and think there might actually be a dog or 3 on the other side of that fence with the BEWARE OF DOG sign. (not sarcasm)
  16. I was refering to the FACT that she is going to be using them a LOT.. I get the fact you can't quite grasp things like that....you seem to have so many of those slow days. 17. I'm not sure what you're implying, but I feel a little personally attacked. I said that because I didn't want anyone kneejerk ASSuming that I'm a palin supporter/apologist. didn't stop any kneejerk reaction though. oh well You wrote: Now, I will say that there is a huge difference between reading a few 1-word notes of the palm of your hand, and reading the speech word for word from a teleprompter. President Obama is a bright, charismatic man, but his handlers have him reading from the teleprompter. Likely because they don't want him to come across like a freshman congressman. Also, we need more than intelligence and charisma. There have been plenty of those in history that turned out badly. (no need to list them here) So make the implication that Obama: - Isn't intelligent - Can't speak impromptu - A national politician (current, former or potential future) can use crib notes written on her hand and it be normal. All are wrong. _________________________________ I don't care about charisma, what about intelligence; you say we need more than that. I think intelligence is fine, what more do we need than that? I don't give a rat's ass about charisma, the hillbillies claimed GWB had that, look wherre it got us. GHWB had little and he was great, Eisenhower had little and he was awesome. Clinton had a sort of charisma and he was awesome too. Shall we talk Reagan? He had a sort of elderly charisma and he was a nightmare, so charisma goes both ways as far as success as a president, intelligence carries deep. I guess refusing to let special interest drive a leader's direction is important, as when Clinton and GHWB raised taxes in protest of that. So I guess not being driven by cronies is one of the most important, but intelligence is high on the list.
  18. Yea, esp from mneal, who posts data rarely, but when he does it usualy comes with, "I got the data where youy got it" or just refusal to post the data. Ignore mneal, he's dishonest.
  19. Because, up until the shooting started, the Davidians trusted the Feds - I don't see that situation repeating itself. I saw the Davidians as people who were always paranoid of the gov.
  20. This doesn't change what I said. By law only the Supreme Court has the authority to decide whether the law is repugnant to the Constitution or not. If you think it is, follow the procedure to have it struck down as everyone else is doing. Failure to follow this procedure and just ignoring the law because you think it's repugnant will make you a criminal. You can ask those who refused to pay income tax because they thought the law was unconstitutional. I bet they have some valuable experience to share. I don't think you understand the concept. Let me give an example. Say the Federal Government passed a law that banned publication of any material unless it had been reviewed and approved for publication by a representative of the government. That law is obviously in direct violation to the Bill of Rights. Citizens have no duty to obey that law regardless of whether the SCOTUS has had a chance to look it over. Good luck with that. You *MIGHT* win in several years, but for teh mean time you're fucked. Shall we look at Loving v Virgiania? The D's were tried and convicted, sentenced to 1 year with the option to voluntarily be deported from Virginia for 25 years, they did and went to DC and appealled. It took 9 years for teh SCOTUS to fix that. Your model is idealistic and unrealistic. And your assertion that Heller could be instantly overturned isn't unrealistic? Edited for clarity. Heller could be overturned easily. I'm not saying it will be and I hope it isn't, but it recently passed by a 5-4, so it is hardly engraved stare decisis.
  21. People who have nothing to add go instantly to spelling errors....where's Ron?
  22. First words of a denialist.... first let me say, I'm not a palin fan. The townall debates, were they telepromtered? Perhaps the conservative hate the fact that Obama admittedly uses a promter as they want company of other politicians acting like assholes. Usually it's teh R's doing this.
  23. Note cards (or hand) vs teleprompter dude What ever man, what ever Using your hand for cribnotes is 5th grade, but when you factor in the simplistic subject matter it gets even more pahetic. At least if you are so out of touch with anything intelligent, write down deep matter. If you think she isn't a moron as with GWB who probably needs to write down left or right on his hands, view this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx7a3leZJJI See, this the sort of jokes you guys put forward and then defend.
  24. TRANSLATION: Let's not talk about how stupid the candidate is that I don't like but defend - Republican rule that you must defend ffellow conservative regardless - of course I love her but can't actually state that w/o looking silly, so I will closet love her and try to distract by bringing up Obama and maybe make fun of his middle name. Since you've misdirected, what politicians don't use teleprompters? Love how you dislike the loser Palin, yet you borrow from her speech. Supports the above. Come out of teh closet; you adore her and will vote for her.
  25. +1 Gosh golly, back thlapping back at ya fella. [insert smiley face] (ignore signage issue)
