so you busted me...i cant spell!!! yeah its been a problem my whole life. i ususally have another window open to dictionary.com for words im not sure about.....guess i just didnt want to check that. I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

well its about 30 here now. Personally brave the cold to jump but i dont think they will be flying today. They have stayed on the ground in warmer weather than this so its a pretty safe bet. anyway..... would have to say the cold too. Like you said you can hope the clouds brake enough to jump, you can hope the wind dies down, but it never warms up that fast. I was so looking foward to jumping during my for day weekend too fort polk is about 2 hours east of beaumont tx by the way. quite possibly the ugliest place in the us. I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

so im sittin here in the barracks at fort polk on a 4 day weekend. I could have been jumping but noooooo of course it has to be freakin freezing on the 4 day. Don't really feel like driving 2 1/2 hours to MABY do one or two hop n pops. God i miss california. ok...so this is pretty much a pointless post im just boerd.

I don't think I'll ever forget the first time I stepped off the step of my twin otter... and If I do I can always go back to my log book and read my Jump masters comments and relive it once again. The very first jump i did (a tandem) the guy filming it snapped a still shot the second we left the door. You can pretty much read what im saying "oh shhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttt" I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

cool....one more thing. When your off student status and think the conditions might not be right for you to jump you really shouldn't. I made almost the worst mistake of my skydiving carrer last week. 20+ mph winds and i figured..."what the hell i drove all the way out here." My ankle still hurts but it could have been alot worse! First I almost landed in a pond. I avoid that only to see that im about to land in a tree! I managed to avoid that to but then hurt my ankle landing. not at all. Its just that snowboarding has always been about style and going big on jumps. They lose speed in the pipe because it gets very tiering trying to pump off the walls. Ever tried it? well if it happend to me i wouldnt really care. I ride cuaz i love it.....not cauz i want some stupid medal. Infact i would love to win an olympic medal just so i could throw it out into the crowd!

i know you dont wanna take advice from people with more jumps than you but i find this works for me whenever i belly fly. Look up at the plane as you exit. For some reason they didn't tell me this till after i was done with all my aff jumps. It really does help though. Whenever im about to exit onto my belly i find myself saying "look up at the plane" over and over. (i guess this only works if you are exiting facing the front of the plane) I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

well i havent been stoned in over a year and a half now. Should I be happy or sad??? I do miss jane very much but on the other hand its nice saving all that money (more jump money!)

i lost my keys one time on a jump. I saw a flash go by my face and realized i had left my keys in my pocket. On the bright side i had just put 1000 into my jump account and had the week off of work oh yeah the keys were found about 7-8 months later

the thing is pros are already pushing themselves to the limit without even going top speed into the pipe (if ya notice they do a little speed check on the way into the pipe). To go top speed into a super pipe would be damn near suicidal! but hey what do i know....im not a pro snowboarder or anything, far from it I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

no it really dosent matter espically in superpipe.....you can get all the speed you need wearing baggy cloths. and i dont really think snowboarding is in a "trendy" stage. Its been around long enough. Places like big bear and mammoth have snowboarders outnumber skiers like 50 to 1.

when all you wanna do is jump but are stuck at a drop zone where 5 loads on a saturday is good then YES IT DOES! (hop hop)
