  1. ...one guy I knew, skydove as a fetus. Knowing his mom - probably at stem cell stage as well.
  2. One thing about a Safire - you can get it in any size. I got 160, and it makes packing easier - as the container is for 170, and I got exactly the loading I wanted. One other thing - it does not seem to care how I pack it, perfect openings - comment from the guy with Sabre2 was that it still likes the old Sabre tricks - rolling the nose etc.. At least he did not mention slamming.. As others said - jump it - and do not make a decision until you made several jumps to learn the landing - it is fairly different. I liked Safire better, for what it is worth..
  3. Its a big difference between 170 and 170 and 170, I guess. Get 170 anyway - once wind picks up after you are up in the air, and turbulence goes from mild to pretty bad, you will be glad. As for killing yourself in a low turn - one size wouldn't make up for a lack of judgment I guess.. ask you instructor as everybody said...
  4. >due to their size could probably be landed with mid section only I would doubt it - it is offered in 210 ft2. Stated purpose - jump into confined spaces and accuracy jumping. Claim a very high speed range and good stability in deep braked approach. But - how do you pack one?? ;-)
  5. http://www.zvezda-npp.ru/ppd/prod/berkut_r.htm It is more "elliptical" then anything out there, but accoriding to this URL is designed for accuracy jumping. It got like 3 open cells. You can order one from "Zvezda" - company that makes russian ejection seats and space suits among anything else. This one also looks interesting - notice the end cells: http://www.zvezda-npp.ru/ppd/prod/golf_r.htm They are closed completely...
