i called paragear on my lunch break today. to ask if a battery was included and to be sure of what kind of mount it comes with. they said they are out, but if i put in an order i would be put on a list and my credit card wouldn't be charged till they get more in and ship them out- sometime at the end of oct. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

check out the dropzones page here on dz.com. it has links to DZ websites and they include price info. as for how long to get to aff7. that depends on your budget and if you have to do any repeats. it took me 6 months to get past aff7. i repeated level 4 twice and coud only afford to do 1 jump a month. now i'm down to the lower priced jumps and am doing 2 a month. hope to have my liscence in nov. or dec. good luck and blue skies!! diamonds are a dawgs best friend

double check those rules. looks like you're buying an awful lot of beer. i'm 3 cases in the hole- first jump, passing aff 7, and landing in the pond (the non swoop one at the other end of the lz). i'm paying up next time i jump on a sat. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

what kind of jump did you do? and what kind will your second be? i can't answer for tandem or static line. i did aff from the get go and can say that i was pretty nervous up until about jump 4. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

Encourage friends to jump..?

i've had many friends and even co-workers ask me about jumping. and after answering all thier questions. have heard things like, "that sounds like fun" and "i've always wanted to do it". at which point i tell them to check out the DZ's web site and let me know when thier reservation is and i'll meet them out there. i have yet to hear from anyone. i don't follow up after that. it takes alot for someone to jump out of a perferctly good airplane. and i figure if they're ever really ready they'll let me know. diamonds are a dawgs best friend -

i've had issues with not finishing the flare and tensing up (bracing for impact). my instructor said to take a deep breath and relax on my turn from base to final and to think about flaring my hands down past my hips. diamonds are a dawgs best friend -

i'm currently on my coach jumps. my next will be level 13. where i jump it's $85 for levels 8-18. then $45 for levels 19-25. i havn't jumped with any of my AFF instructors for a coached jump yet. they're busy jumping with people on level 1-7 or doing tandems. which i think is good, because i've jumped with 4 different coaches- all of whom have had different teahing styles but they've all been very informative and made me feel comfortable. talk to manifest about requesting a specific coach. also your fallrate may play a role in who you get as a coach. best of luck on getting your A! diamonds are a dawgs best friend

i have sprint and the only place i can't get service is in a home depot or similar store with a huge metal roof. my phone works out at SDH, down at the beach and everywhere in between. diamonds are a dawgs best friend
