just read the article in my work's breakroom. anyone know anything, (facts, rumors, hear say) about the Austin tunnel they mention? a short drive to fly when the weather is bad would be very helpful in buliding this young jumper's skills. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

for 3 years i used a beeper and the pay phones at my apartments. it was cheaper than a home phone. plus unless the 911 code came through i didn't have to call right away if i didn't want to. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

a couple of months ago i'd run to Arby's near the DZ and got a 1 and three 5s when i was supposed to get four dollars and some coins back at the drive thru. going back would have made me miss the next load. diamonds are a dawgs best friend

i like my batrays with orange sunburst lense. however i wear a full face helmet due to being a contact wearer. i know a few jumpers who wear other styles and lenses with a stap and gasket type material on the inside edge of the frames to reduce wind getting in thier eyes while wearing openfaced helmets. see if anyone at your DZ will let you try thiers on to see what style you like. or try contacting Gatorz and talking about your face shape and size. they were very helpful with me on choosing the right frames. diamonds are a dawgs best friend -

i quit 6 years ago using the final smoke pills. i used the money i saved toward a car stereo system to reward myself. if i had been a jumper back then i would have spent the money on jumps. just the other week while getting gas i saw a sign for how much cigs are nowadays and started calculating how many jumps a month i can do instead based on my past pack a day habit. best of luck! diamonds are a dawgs best friend

been jumping almost 2 years. jumping my own pack job the first time was unnerving until i remembered i had a reserve that a rigger had packed. i do it for pretty much the same reason anyone else that's engages in a hobby or recreational activity does: for fun, relaxation, to challenge myself to improve, and the social interaction with like minded people. the adrenaline rush i get from risking my life for the reward of having a blast jumping is just an added bonus. diamonds are a dawgs best friend
