So I came up to Tennessee for a week and a half to see family and what not.... and it's cinqo de mayo today... Just some food for thought Actually, the whole signs of the zodiac is essentially thrown off. The constellations which lie on the ecliptic are what's known as the zodiac. Everyone knows this as the twelve listed above.... yet there is a 13th sign. Its name is Ophiuchus and should be considered the 13th sign. I was told last night at dinner by a particular skydiver that I'm not a skydiver because I only have 27 jumps.... he said I'm more like a "skyd..." and not a real one yet.... it kinda pissed me off since I've sold my car, textbooks... and even live in a tent when I'm at the dropzone.... So my question is... when do you consider someone to be a skydiver?? Does this guy have a big ego or is one not really a skydiver until he/she has hundreds of jumps?? Exactly... with only having 25 jumps I should never listen to my instructors... I should listen to everyone else right.... especially those who are not AFF instructors... but claim they are right?!.....

When I first told my mom about the two tandems I went on, she made me go see a counselor... she thought I was suicidal to want to jump out of a "perfectly good airplan".... yeah that counseling trip sucked.... so I didn't tell her about any more jumps until last week I broke it to her that I have 25 skydives.... but I sat down and showed her my A license card, the SIM, and told her all about AAD's, RSL's, reserve packs...ect. She's feeling a little better about it... ... but all I can say is go over all the safety part of it.... and maybe not mention it a whole bunch!
