I lived in this town for 18 years... very sheltered.... the "don't do anything city"... then I moved to florida for 3 years. I'm home for a visit and decided it's time for some corrupting ....So All the girls that I used to go to church with are joining me in the hot tub... and since we all just turned 21 we'll be having some drinks (for many this will be their first drink!!) Agh... still trying to figure out this rig, parachutes ect. I want something docile, something I can land easily I'm jumping a 9 cell navigator right now and trying to buy my first rig... some people tell me 9 cell is the way to go, but the javelin guy told me a 7 cell spectre is the way to go especially since I've had some landing problems. So I only have 27 jumps and I'm getting my A license next week after I take my A oral exam. I really want to go to a boogie like the end of july or beginning of august... but what is a good boogie for me to go with not much experience?? *Large, clear landing area free of obstacles (yes, I hit the only tree on my dropzone... and will never live it down) *Other inexperienced skydivers like myself *Lasting about 3-4 days So, where and when is a boogie that is good for me?! In the SIMS it says if you have two canopies out in a downplane to cut away the main and keep the reserve. It aslo says to disconnect the RSL before you cut away.... why would you do this if the reserve is always out??!! PMS #449 TPM #80 Muff Brother #3860 SCR #14705 Dirty Sanchez #233
