My Shadow has lots of energy and loves to scratch!! First thing I did with her was start trimming her claws about once a week. I can tell it's time to trim when she has enough traction to climb up my patio screen Secong thing I did was take a water bottle and fill it with a catnip-tea. I sprayed her kitty-jail with the catnip and now she literally runs circles around it, up it and through it. Digs her claws into the bottom couple inches and drags her side on the carpet.

Ortega's definitely the most direct route. From Huntington (a bit north of MV, where I used to live) I go 55N to the 91E to the 15S to Railroad Canyon. A little more roundabout, but probably about the same timewise. The key there is not to go that way during rush-hour. You hit the 91 at the wrong time, you'll be there a while. -
So it just cost me less to FedEx my rig for a repack than to drive it.

:1:0 Dirt-dove a 5-way RW jump today (my pre-second). Got all psyched about it, then the wind picked up and we scratched. I waited around a while longer to do a 15k H&P, spent some quality time with my canopy before landing it for the second time. Watched the plane land & take-off again, then heard canopies from the next load popping overhead walking in from the field.

Funny you posted this thread yesterday, I almost had an AM incident myself. The base hired a bunch of rent-a-cops to augment at the gates, and my number came up yesterday for vehicle inspection. The guy's attitude, along with the way he handled himself and the situation, I damn near handed his ass to him. I settled with telling him that his attitude stank and hit the gym. **Edit for spelling

I think you answered your own question. Sometimes you need to be an asshole to preserve your own self-interest. To stop getting fucked in the ass with sandy vaseline. Moving in with no lease implies no obligation to continue with this arrangement. If you've already contributed your aforementioned $700, I'd demand it back, citing that you need it to remedy an intolerable arrangement.

I agree that tunnel-flying is dangerous. I've found it to be a lot safer in the sense that you eliminate the need to be altitude aware. I used it to learn to be stable for AFF and I'll be back soon to learn to freefly For the original question, I still would jump if with the danger factor removed. Whether I would've made my first jump, not sure.
