I found out last month that I made SSgt (again, USAF E-5). First time testing with 23 points to spare. I won't see it till May or June, but I'll have more jump-$$ next summer. Why would they have kicked you out for not making Staff?

Titusville actually. The hangar's on one corner of the airpark with tennis courts and a driving range on the opposite corner. I learned of its existance the hard way. I am tempted to land on the Sebastian golf course one of these days, just for fun.

I landed on the driving range next to the DZ a few months back (jump#13). I thought I was just landing on the far corner of the airpark, didn't realize where I was going until I was on final. At about 100 feet, I realized what the white dots and signs saying 120, 150, 180 were.

Sweet!! Skies are blue, tracked it until the main engine cut off. Last launch I lost it in the clouds. I just wish my DZ's airspace wasn't restricted for launches, you can see KSC under canopy. It'd be a great day for a full alti H&P.

Watching it on tv right now, going outside in a few minutes. I'm about 30 miles from KSC, close enough to watch it burn across the sky.

I'm guessing cats become that way from being abused by humans. He's someones cat (at least he's wearing tags). Gotta wonder if maybe he ended up in an animal shelter for biting someone, then got put down shortly after the video. Seriously, how does one constructively deal with a cat like that?

Wow, a 22 y/o cat. It's funny, loud noises are the only thing Shadow's really afraid of. She runs and hides when I draw the window-shades. When I came home on the 4th of July, she was hiding in a box deep in the closet. I had some tuna, hoping the smell would draw her out, but she stayed in that box until it was time for breakfast.

My Shadow just bolted out of the room and under the bed. Saw the flash of lightning, her ears perk up, then she was gone. Anyone else's kitty scared if thunder?

Thanks fellas, I'm gonna stick collapsing my slider and leaving it in place. I'm amazed at the silence and enhanced field of vision.

:4:0 I made 2 Friday morning and 2 more this afternoon. 3 solos, 1 where got into a sit for about 5 seconds (after going to my back to watch the tandems jump). 2 more solos trying to figure out the transition to a sit, and a 2 way tracking dive. Had my pre-second stand-up landing on my Spectre.

Got my first taste of sitflying Friday. Went to back after exit, watched the tandems go, then just kinda found myself in a sit .

I baked some asparagus with butter and lemon-pepper before I broiled my steak. I put rubbed some Montreal Steak Seasoning into my steak before broiling (I really need to get a grill). A1 is for the birds.
