  1. "Hi your perfume is bothering me while I enjoy my cigar"
  2. McCain scares the shit out of me. Iran training and harboring al-Qaeda? Ok maybe he mis-spoke, but what about sitting there with a straight face saying Petraeus travels in an unarmed Humvee in the streets of Iraq? I think he is either disconnected from reality or thinks we believe anything we're told.
  3. http://www.abcnews.go.com/...d=4524127&page=2 That video has all sorts of misinformation. They say he called himself DB Cooper and the simulation shows him using a square...guess I shouldn't be surprised
  4. Romney also had problems because of his religion and that he is so pro-Iraq yet none of his 5 or so sons are serving...and he had a bad image for flip flopping and mud slinging. For the people who know of Paul, most feel he either has no chance or his polices are too radical. Paul was also shunned by the media, but that's already been discussed in other threads. As far as McCain is concerned I don't think the voters in many states truly understood his position on Iraq. Do a quick Google search on the NH primary and you'll see a lot of people who voted for him were AGAINST the was in Iraq.
  5. I got the sarcasm, just pointing out how absurd their claim is. Our choices are going to be between a pathological liar and a bigot vs a warmonger. Can't we just throw them all back and start the primaries over again? This could be a season for a third party to make some ground, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
  6. I don't buy it. Sleep deprivation may be different for everyone but I've never heard of someone having completely false memories from it. She's a bullshitter plain and simple. I love how she finally commented on Obama's minister right after this was revealed
  7. I agree, and I was very shocked to hear after this that Marshals are only on ~1% of flights
  8. Not this guy www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_HhAyNsR0o Flip-flopping on an issue might not be the greatest personality attribute, but does not remotely compare to outright lying about your past experiences, a great example of which is Clinton's lie about the '96 Bosnia trip. Big Red Flag: Likely pathological liar at hand. There's the whole 'Songbird' controversy that he aledgely lies about. I don't trust McCain, in fact I just watched his economy press conference and could help but laugh when his infamous 'time for some straight talk' speal came out. Only one of the 'top 3' that seems to attempt to be open is Obama, at least he admitted drug abuse etc in his books. I don't trust any politician that says they didn't inhale I'm sorry. Still not getting my vote, but I respect him that
  9. Hey that was a brave 8yr old girl!! I can't believe she dodged those sniper bullets to meet Mrs Clinton
  10. Personally I rather have some guy sitting in a median looking for radioactive junk than a camera checking to see if I come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Big brother-ish maybe, but what personal liberties can this threaten? Don't know if they could give the real reason for the traffic stop, but cops usually BS it if they have to any how. I've been pulled over many times and told it was for my lights off(which they weren't) to going 51 in a 50. If a cop wants to pull you over they'll find something
  11. Should work, because the macro is only placing a value in there...but I dont know much about how that part works. Try copying it from the other ver and see what happens
  12. Give this a shot and let me know what you think. It's quick and dirty, but I think it's what your looking for.
  13. np, can you post a copy of your XLS with the changes? Three above are wrong, wrong(changed), and correct versions right?
  14. Ok, if that's the route your going then you could probably just have it loop through all the names on the data sheet and place them in the calc name field. Have the rest of the fields query the data sheet for that particular person, which I think you have already, and just sum that total field into a variable. Once complete set that field to that value(no formula), and it'll remain even if you pull up other people's reports. Make sense?
  15. Sorry, I'm not used to report development using Excel. I typically work with database reporting tools(Cognos,Crystal,SSRS etc). From what I can see your trying to create a formula based on the High 5/10 w-2(C25:C36), but from your post above you want that specific to one person selected in the drop down. I think you could create a third tab for summary and have that do the report for everyone total, and then pull the value into the calc sheet. Or create a summary row on the data sheet and have a name 'All' or something that you could select in the drop down for a summary. I'm not familiar with the data or report requirements so it's hard to advise, but having a sheet for one employee/customer and trying to create an aggregate field will be difficult without a summary column/sheet to reference. Am I misunderstanding?
  16. If it's an emergency and nerd137 hasn't responded I can take a look at it for ya when I'm on lunch or something later.
  17. I've never really had this happen to me, and obviously pretty inexperienced, but isn't it as simple as if you reach and don't grab just to follow the container to the corner? Not saying I put my hand on it immediately every time, occasionally I have to feel for a second but it's never seemed to be an issue. There was a student in my AFF class that had a hard time locating their hacky on their first jump, and one of our instructors put them on the creeper and lifted up their rig to help show them how it can be displaced in freefall. Is this a common demonstration?
  18. Wouldn't mind it so much if I could be the one who gets to boot him in the ass as he looks out the door
  19. It's more of the chicken or the egg question. Is the lack of media coverage due to him being a long shot candidate, or has his chances of getting the nomination been decreased by the lack of media coverage thus causing him to be a long shot? Did CNN and other major news channels choose to exclude him and say there were only two Republican candidates after Mitt dropped, or was it due to his placement in the national/state polls...which are a complete joke but we'll leave that be for now. He did get some coverage on the campaign contribution records he broke and the protests outside the Fox debates after he was excluded. Those were pretty major events that could not be completely ignored, but were quickly replaced by stories of Hillary shedding a tear or what Borack ate at the diner before a debate. Being that he raised more money in a 24hr period than any other candidate in history, is the most Googled candidate, has the largest meetup groups, receives more money from active duty personnel than all other candidates combined, and has been screaming about the Iraq war and the economy since day one should grant him more coverage which it has not. Hell our rigger who LIVED in Texas didn't even know he was running because he never seen him on the news. And to be fair he has 8%, not 1%.
  20. They should also contribute to the Style Police. Thing's as ugly as a zit. Just thought I'd throw that out there for you all to have fun with. True, but comes with some great features enhancing the interior style/design. If I want performance or style I'll bust out my Chevelle. Besides even the 'cool' cars now days are all starting to look like shit or like every other car on the road.
  21. If Ron Paul was such a great guy with so many ardent supporters, why was he gone from the running by January? I don't want to cry 'conspiracy', but it's media coverage. Many of the would be Paul supporters never even hear about him from the main stream media, unless they watch the republican debates. Even before there was a 'clear republican nominee' Paul barely got a fraction of the coverage given to the other candidates. I'm not trying to say he is the end-all be-all or that everyone should agree with all of his stances, but he would have faired much better if given fair treatment.
  22. How close is that comparison? Will it still hold true when gas goes to $4 a gal etc? I bought my Prius loaded(minus leather) so it was a bit pricier, but still under 30k...and my employer gives a 3,000 reimbursement for new hybrid purchases, so I had a couple reasons why I went with the Prius.
  23. Given the current crop of candidates ... 1/20/13 can't come soon enough. Couldn't agree with you more except there is one good dem/rep candidate IMO, and the news doesn't even acknowledge him.
  24. The Prius doesn't advertise 66mpg, at least here in the states. 48 city and 45 highway is what the sticker says. I just bought a 2008 Prius about a month and a half ago and I've been very happy with it. I'm averaging about 45 mpg or so and it's the middle of the winter here in Buffalo. Once warm weather comes around I'll be getting a little better millage, but compared to the 02 Chevy Monte SS(~20mpg) I traded in I'm quite pleased.
