One good thing I have read recently about xmas though is that retailers are panicing this year and considering starting sales early.....I think this is a brilliant idea! As I remember back in a couple of the jobs I have done working on Christmas eve selling folk stuff, that I knew was going on sale at the end of the day when the shops shut to get ready for the boxing day sale.....

I have to agree, I thought Lost in Translation was awesome also, I spent a couple of weeks in Japan during my PhD and some of the scenes in that film just cracked me up.
