Over here coding for the games industry does pay less than an average coding job, but it tends to be large houses that do it, so its not to different to a normal software house.

Can anyone tell me about jumping in Scotland?
gordy replied to windcatcher's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Hey... Its cool to here you coming over here, like has already been said the weather here at times isn't as good as it could be, but we do tend to make the most of it.... There are three dropzones in Scotland Paragon Skydiving (just outside Dundee) Skydive St Andrews (just outside St Andrews) Skydive Strathallan (just outside Perth) They are all great dropzones, with their own crowds, I would advise you to visit them all, as depending on where your going to be studying they are each only going to be a couple of hours away from you, and I guarantee you have a blast....oh and as your visiting them all make sure to bring along your drinking shoes -
looking at it like that I would say all disciplines are creative.

Cool, thats good to hear, as I said if you need a hand just give us a shout.
-
I would be inclined to say analytical, with the number of IT, engineers, doctors, mechanics etc that I have met while jumping, but I have also met artists, writers etc although slightly less of them, I reckon skydiving just attracts all sorts. Part of the attraction I think

should I or shouldn't I have?
gordy replied to Punky_Monkey's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
For Punky_Monkey, I think the best advice I have heard hear is from bliston, but its up to you, although I think you will miss out if you don't go through a progression in canopies, purely as a method of trying different things and seeing what you like. -

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I would have said enjoying it is more important than the art itself, but that is my opinion, so its like you way, whatever floats your boat
